Honeymooners, this is your place!

We had a perfect honeymoon thanks to Aventura Spa Palace!
The staff was wonderful and friendly, and we never felt like tipping was expected. However, we did tip because the service is better than anything I've seen in the USA.
The restaurants are all good with no reservations necessary and no waiting. Room service is prompt and yummy as well. I found the Japanese "Mo Mo Na Hana" and the Mexican restaurant to be spectacular. They make the guacamole fresh before your eyes and it is devine.
The pool areas were not crowded and there were plenty of areas in the shade and sun to choose from. The beach is rocky; there is not a smooth sand-to-ocean area, but you won't miss it.
The rooms are clean and have a nice big shower and soothing jacuzzi tub facing your ocean view. The sliding balcony doors shut out all sounds from the grounds, but the main room door from the hallway let a lot of echoing noise through. As long as you kept yourself busy the day before, you'll sleep right through it.
If your reservation includes the local tours, enjoy everything you can squeeze in, but still leave yourself at least one full day to relax by the pool. You should make your tour reservations soon after you check in because some of the tours/activities are not daily. We highly recommend the Paradise Snorkeling tour and parasailing. Bring bio-degradable sunscreen.
We stayed 7 days/6 nights and wished it was longer. If you can afford it, go for 10 days or more. This was a big expense for us (second largest of the whole wedding next to my ring), but it was worth every penny! ENJOY!
