Jameson Inn Hickory, Hickory

We loved this hotel, they had great amenities, service was excellent and the room was one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. The room was very clean, with a flat screen tv, it had a very comfy mattress, the sheets were high thread count, the comforter was not one of those cheap hotel standards, it was very nice and reversible. The towels were super thick and there were plenty of them. We swam in the the pool, although it was not heated it was still very nice, we had a great time. There breakfast was very good too, with more than just the bagel and cold cereal that most hotels offer. We loved it and look forward to staying there again soon. I would recommend this hotel hands down.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Jameson. The staff was quiet, friendly and the facility appears to be well maintained. Our no-smoking room was clean and well appointed, but the walls are thin, so don't say or do anything that you don't want to share with the folks in the next room. It is centrally located and very close to several well known restaurants. They offer a continental breakfast with "do-it-yourself" Belgian waffles. Forget the waffles. Stop by the lobby for coffee on your way to nearby Cracker Barrel. Appropriate for the family or business traveler; and we would stay again with a discount.

The Hotel was located around many restaurants which came in handy. The place was very clean (remodeled) the staff was extra friendly. I am currently looking on staying with them again.
