Comfortable and Enjoyable
By Joann, 01/26/08
We are a large family and finding comfortable accommodations is not always an easy task. We got a suite with 2 rooms that sleeps six. The beds were clean and comfortable. One was a good size sofa-bed and two were double beds in a seperate bedroom. There was a small galley style kitchen area with a microwave and small fridge. A small coffee pot with coffee packs sits on the counter area which includes a sink. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was totally refreshing! We found the staff to go above and beyond our expectations, and we are not simple people who are easily appeased. We would definitely stay there again and give it a TWO THUMBS (way) UP!!!

Unacceptable Room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
We arranged our reservations with AAA-it was to be a 3 diamond hotel- the room was unacceptable. The mattresses we extremely worn out and disgusting. There were gross stains on the box springs-I had to put towels over the stains so my children wouldn't be exposed directly to whatever was lerking. The blankets had holes in them and so did the carpet. Approximately 4-5 large holes in the carpet. The lobby seemed nice but the room was gross. We continued our vacation at two other Holiday Inn's that were also 3 diamond ratings and they were extremely clean and cheaper. I do not recommend this location for anyone who values cleanliness as a top priority.

Do Not Visit anyone Here!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/07/07
The staff were not friendly, nor the security guard. We visited a guest at this hotel and car got towed. They were rude about the whole situation. The staff (3 ladys) were not only rude but cursed about parking passes that we were not informed about, nor the guest that was staying at the hotel was informed about either. The security guard held his hand in my face, with me asking him to remove it from my face three times and then I had to finally move to get away from it. I had my fiancee, myself, and my 1 year old child. This was at about 10:30 at night and snowing outside. The threat was made by the security guard to throw us out of "his" motel also upon inquiring about these so called parking passes that the guest at the motel was not informed about. There were other people this happened to too and they were treated the same way; mean and rude. I would not recommend that you stay at this motel at all because you will receive rude service from the staff. The only service that was given to us was a card of a towing agency tossed at my fiancee without words being said or anything. Another man standing at the counter offered my fiancee a ride to the towing agency to get the car out after an $85 fee.

disappointed
By Jeff, 01/24/07
CONS: High speed internet didn't work. Elevators smell like cigarettes. Staff incompetent - I asked for and signed in for a two night stay. The next morning they checked me out without telling me and gave the room to someone else. My wife was alone in the room and a man tried to get in with a key/card to the room, fortunately she had the latch on. I had to go get our key/cards re-programmed. No explanation as to why they checked us out, but they did apologize. Breakfast was a disappointment. Continental breakfast was very spare. They were charging $6.95 for a buffet. Not impressed. We went to Bob Evans a block away. PROS: Good location. Rooms are nice and roomy. Desktop computer in room. (internet didn't work) We won't be staying there again.

Will Never Return Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/06
Reservations were made 2/22/06 for a non-smoking room for our stay on September 8, 2006. However, when we checked in, we found there were none available. Apparently, it doesn't matter when requests for non-smoking rooms are made because Holiday Inn is giving up these rooms on a first-come, first-serve basis. We demanded that our room (Smoking Room) be "freshened up" so that we would not have to be subjected to the smell of stale smoke. However, when we got off the elevator, all we could smell was smoke in the hallway. We could tell that something had been done to our room to get rid of the stale smoke, but there was still a hint of smoke. The front desk staff knew we were not pleased with the room we had; they did not give us a break on the cost, nor did they even offer to give us any compensation (for example...."breakfast on us") for the error they made. Holiday Inn needs to know they are not the only hotel in town. We will never stay in a Holiday Inn again. Comfort Inns and Motel 8's are much better (and they both have complimentary breakfasts!!!)

Great location

The location was excellent. The rooms are in great shape and have Internet access. You're a few steps away from dining and entertainment venues.

In the middle of the action
By Reona CheM, 09/20/05
This Holiday Inn is right in the middle of downtown...You can walk everywhere. The staff was very friendly, and the suite was nice. I would stay here a hundred times over. Thanks.

The Lowest of the Low
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/05
I paid $60 for this? The staff was more than rude. I don't know about other rooms, but mine had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Or at least this is what I assumed when I noticed that the bed was not made and his clothes were still in the drawers. Awful. Go to the Ramada.
