Better not forget anything!
We stayed one night for $139 + tax. The room was okay, but unfortunately, I forgot to pack a VERY expensive flat iron. When I called back, I was told that they would check with housekeeping and call me back. They didn't. I called 2 more times and was finally told that they had tried very hard to find my flat iron, but it just wasn't there. Is it just me, or wouldn't the simplest thing to do be to just ask the housekeeper who cleaned our room when we left? It shouldn't take a genius to figure out that it had to have been found by that person. We have been customers of Hampton in 44 states, but no more. This one incident has cost this company much more than my flat iron cost me. I also would like to add that while in San Francisco, in another company's hotel, I left an antique watch. It was mailed to me immediately. Wouldn't you think Georgians would be more honest?
