Helen's Finest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/09
I am a Hilton employee and of course stay at Hilton whenever I travel. I have been to this hotel twice and find it to be simply the best. Service is great, people friendly and helpful, location is absolutely perfect. The rooms were spotless and smelled fresh. My wife and I plan on going again and again, and will stay home if the Hampton Inn is not available. For us, there is just no other place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel, as well as the city to anyone who wishes a relaxing and fun filled get away.

Looking forward to our return!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/08
Stayed in king room w/balcony. Rooms were extremely clean and the staff was courteous and gracious. This was our second trip to Helen and we have stayed both times at the Hampton. It will be our annual getaway in the future. Highy recommend this hotel.

Better not forget anything!
By VJ, 09/04/08
We stayed one night for $139 + tax. The room was okay, but unfortunately, I forgot to pack a VERY expensive flat iron. When I called back, I was told that they would check with housekeeping and call me back. They didn't. I called 2 more times and was finally told that they had tried very hard to find my flat iron, but it just wasn't there. Is it just me, or wouldn't the simplest thing to do be to just ask the housekeeper who cleaned our room when we left? It shouldn't take a genius to figure out that it had to have been found by that person. We have been customers of Hampton in 44 states, but no more. This one incident has cost this company much more than my flat iron cost me. I also would like to add that while in San Francisco, in another company's hotel, I left an antique watch. It was mailed to me immediately. Wouldn't you think Georgians would be more honest?

Great Place to Stay
By Cindy, 03/29/08
We came to Helen for a weekend getaway, the Hampton was the perfect place, the staff was great, the breakfast was good and the room was awesome. The rooms extras like the coffee maker, the microwave and the micro fidge made our stay even nicer. The bed was so comfortable and smelled clean, the entire experience was great. The covered parking lot was handy especially in the rain. The only thing that would have made our stay better was an indoor pool!!, but besides that NO complaints at all!!! The short 2 hour drive seemed like a world away from our hometown of Atlanta

excellent inn
By sagar, 05/13/07
The rooms as well as other areas of the hotel are kept very clean. The complimentary breakfast is very nice. The rooms include microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee pots. There's an indoor heated pool as well as a hot tub and library. Overall the staff is very nice. The hotel is located in the heart of all the attractions as well as downtown Helen and it's shops.

They Need to Hire More Help!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/24/06
The cleaning staff comprised of 2 women who came to our room after 5:00PM made the bed, changed the towells and left. No amenities were left (shampoo, etc.) no cleaning was done. The exercize equipment room was a joke. The equipment was self propelled and flimsy. The complimentary breakfast was good and the location of the Hotel was good, a creek behind with Rainbow Trout in it. Overall they were just short staff members and it showed.

"Almost a pool''
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/23/06
I've stayed at this Inn several times, from biketoberfest to the RIDE FOR KIDS, Each time I have stayed the service was good and very friendly, rooms were clean and neat. If there is an item I would fix if I were king for the day would be an investment in a larger pool and a person to look after the cleanliness of the pool as the pool this last couple trips was not very aluring to get into (BUGS and STUFF) floating in water and Hazy all day and night!! in need of chem treatment and ballance of "ph" OVERALL one of the nicer Helen places to stay !!THAT IS IF YOU DON'T CARE TO SWIM !!
