Shearwater Inn, Lincoln City

Imagine you arrive in the evening and are tired from a long day of traveling. You are greeted by the warmest smile and are directed to lounge in the common area while a glass of wine is poured for you. Afterwards, you go up to your room and decide it is too tiring to go out for dinner, so you find a menu in the room of many the local restaurants and order something delivered directly to you. You walk over to flip the switch on the fireplace, open a bottle of wine and sit down for a romantic firelit oceanside dinner. You wake up in the morning under warm fluffy feather comforter with the sound of the ocean waves crashing against the beach. You get up and walk across the plush carpet to grab the newspaper and continental breakfast outside your door. You start the water filling on your deep jacuzzi tub and sit by the fireplace while eating breafast and reading your newspaper. When the tub is filled, you plan to take a short bath, but find the tub so comforting that you feel you can spend the whole day in it. Reluctantly, you get out an hour later and wrap yourself in one of the white robes.
