Best girls night!
By Sunny, 10/15/09
My best gal pals and I did a huge girls weekend for my Birthday. We ordered the Girlfriends Getaway Package and it was perfect! Before going out we received a gorgeous plate of cheeses and local chocolates, wine and discounted spa treatments from the Jill Bucy Spa located downstairs. We have all been so busy and this was the perfect location to reconnect. The hotel sits in the middle of a many great restaurants. We walked to dinner at the Melting Pot and then went for drinks at Chopstixs. All was walking distance which was perfect since no girl’s night is complete without strappy high heels! The staff was wonderful. Many thanks to the bell staff who carried our many bags up the stairs and the front desk agents who answered all our questions quickly. We can’t wait to plan another girl’s night at the MarQueen Hotel!

The best part was the spa
By Ted, 09/29/08
The hotel has a lot of great character, but the best part was the spa which was an unexpected gem. The facial and massage I had there was the best I have ever had - and I have had a bunch. Don't miss this place - Jill Bucy Skincare - my visit there made my stay heaven. I am definitely headed back for another round soon.

We Loved this Hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/06
The service was excellent, beds were very comfortable, our room was very roomy, people working at the front desk were very helpful. It was great having our own kitchen. Walking distance to Seattle Centre. Lots of cool shops close by. We definitely can't wait to go back. I recommend this hotel!

great location and value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/06
The lower Queen Anne district is vibrant and lively - great places to eat (especially Thai food), a gourmet market open till midnight, and near the seattle center. Staff friendly. The hotel is pretty charming - apartment like rooms with kitchen areas with full fridges, stove and sink. Feels like a home away from home. I would say that if you like your cookie cutter sterile hotel room feel you probably won't like this place, but if you are a tourist looking to be 'where it's at' this is great. I'm a business traveler who has been in Seattle weekly for three months now. Sometimes I opt for quieter places, but if I'm ever returning as a tourist, this will be near the top of my list. Bad stuff - not the easiest place to approach by car due to all the one way roads; valet parking if you don't like that; street noise if your windows are open and your TV is not on, no elevators, so if you don't want to climb stairs you'll be even closer to the street noise.

Classic
By julie, 10/01/05
It is historical, classic design, staff are extremely friendly, a quick cab ride downtown, but quite a few fun night/dinner spots within a block or two.

Location and Value
By LucyC, 09/13/05
I loved the location - by the Space Needle and EMP. Easy access to the monorail and then to downtown Seattle. Cozy neighborhood and wondereful restaurants to walk about and explore. A peaceful respite from the downtown area.

really enjoyed the stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/05
small and not very updated but the location to everything was great. The service for the price was ok. Near the space needle, downtown and close to the piers. Nice for a downtown hotel. Would go again.

Great Experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/05
For my sister's birthday, we came up from Puyallup for a concert at Key arena. Rather than fight traffic, we decided to stay in Seattle. We had a little trouble finding the hotel, but once we were there it was great! The service was excellent and we couldn't ask for a better location! We were able to walk to the concert and stopped at a great little restaurant on the way. I would definately recommend the Marqueen.

Come Down in Time
By Maid In California, 05/23/05
Do you ever long to return to the old days gone by? At The MarQueen Hotel in the Queen Anne District of Seattle you can do just that! Walk through the brass-framed doors and back into the 1880s. The first thing you'll notice is the winding wooden staircase leading to the two upper floors. Plush carpet and Queen Anne furniture makes the quiet lobby very inviting. When you reach your room you'll be amazed at the size - larger than some studio apartments! You'll enjoy the homeiness and convenience of a full kitchen(!) and large bathroom appointed with designer toiletries & thick, soft towels. You can almost smell the salty sea air from your open windows. There are a wide variety of great restaurants within walking distance. Service is quick and pleasant. Location is excellent. You won't want to go home!
