What an awesome place!
By Laura and Keith, 08/15/09
We have stayed in a number cabins/condos and Creekside Condo B has been the best yet. On the river with mountain views, this condo has lots of windows to see it all from inside and a deck to see the outside. Elk, sheep, deer, turkeys were seen from the condo! We were there in May and snowshoed, fly fished, golfed, hiked, and took a drive up Trail Ridge Road! Exhilarating and relaxing at the same time . . .

Extremely beautiful & relaxing

Loved everything. Spacious, clean cabin/condo with fireplace, whirlpool tub, lots of privacy and beautiful babbling river steps away. Great service, free DVDs with wide selection. Friendly people. Highly recommended for couples and families.

We found the Creekside Suites to be nothing like they are advertised to be. We had a loft suite and found once we arrived that they are over another suite. This meant that we had people going up and down the stairs at all times of the morning and night. On our first night we had the people below come back at 12:30 AM and yell and scream as they went down the stairs waking us up. We then had another group of people bang their suitcases up the stairs at 6 AM on another morning. The final straw though was when maintenance was working in the laundry room (again under our suite, at 8:30 at night) and all we could hear throughout our entire unit was the sound of drilling and sawing. On the plus side management had the maintenace person stop when we called to complain. We also found that the beds in our suite (#10) were completely unconfortable with the king bed having a huge dip in the middle. This caused my wife and I to have to sleep on the edges of the bed making for a very uncomfortable sleeping experience. The pillows were terrible and we ended up having to go to Loveland to buy some pillows so that we could get some sleep. The marketing copy on the website for Creekside also contains numerous inaccuracies. For instance, they indicate that each unit has it's own grill. Instead there is one grill per cluster of units. So you have to share with 6 other units if you want to grill. The pictures on the website also show that the rooms have a table with chairs for eating. Instead each room has a bar with barstools. This is fine if your party is just adults but we had our small child with us and had to eat all meals at the coffee table in the living room. The QuickTime VRs do however show that the rooms have barstools only, but not everyone is going to look at them. Finally, we selected this property for it's "stocked river" and found that if the river was stocked it wasn't done very often and neither did the property cater to anglers. While fishing one morning another guest and her two kids came by and began throwing rocks into the river right where I was fishing. A complaint to the office yielded a "we can't control other guests behaviors" response. Altogether an unsatisfying and unhappy experience. Deffinately will not return nor recommend it.

Heaven

My Fiance and me stayed in the bungelow on march 30-April 2 and had the best time of our life. We got married right there and evrything was just perfect. The bungelow was awesome we grilled, built a fire in the fireplace, and enjoyed the atmosphere. I Love the moose above the bathroom door. On Our wedding the gals in the office left us two red roses and a bottle of champagne. It could not have been better. We have reserved the bungelow again in september. What a trip !! we are so excited.

AHHHHH! Some things shouldn't ever end.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
Wow! Great location! Very nice suites. They have kitchen appliances that I don't have at home! It was so nice to be able to grill on the balcony and watch the elk in the creek. Everything was very nice. The only problem I had with them was the housecleaning was lacking. We had to go get trash bags (not a big deal). The only thing we needed cleaned was the main bathroom (I had already done the bedrooms/kitchen areas). The tub was still dirty when we got back (kids had been very dirty and there was no cleaner for me to do it myself). It looked like the only thing that had been done was the vaccuming in the living area. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would def. go back (and just be specific w/ a note for housekeeping). ;)

Great Scenery But Somewhat Dissapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/06
I was really looking forward to this based on the reviews I read on this website. The scenery is wonderful; the Fall River is right outside and you really get the Rocky Mountain experience when staying here. We also saw some wildlife right outside our suite. The outside hot tub was nice and it was nice to have the jetted tub in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. A couple things were lacking. First, there are no laundry facilities. I asked the person at the front desk where the closest laundromat was and her response was "in town". Not only that, but the closest laundry mat was actually outside of town at the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Also, we did find a small problem with the housecleaning. Our daughter wanted to sleep on the sofa bed one night, and when we opened it up, the sheets were dirty and there was a Snickers Candy bar stuck to the bottom of the matress. Otherwise, everything was good. I guess I just had high expectations after reading these reviews that were not quite met.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/05
My two sisters & I have just returned from a vacation trip to Estes Park where we spent four nights at the Creekside Suites. The accomodations were wonderful, we would have stayed another three nights had it not been booked ahead & full. Being Senior Citizens we appreciated the mere two steps to get to our Suite. I, the younger, had no trouble reaching my loft bedroom & thoroughly loved it. The service was excellent & our suite was comfortable & quiet. Also the location is just great to all the attractions Rocky Mountain National Park has to offer. The only thing I would change is that a small table & chairs would have been nice as we, at our age, are not comfortable climbing onto high bar stools. I definitely give the Suites a big "thumbs up" & hope to come back.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN AMERICA
By CARA, 07/27/05
ESTES PARK COLORADO WAS ABSOLUTLY BREATH TAKING. THE SNOWCAPED MOUNTAINS WERE JUST AMAZING. CREEKSIDE CONDOS WERE AMAZING CLEAN AND WELL MANTAINED. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. PLUS YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS, WITH A LITTLE CREEK RUNNING RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VISITING THIS PLACE. I PLAN ON GOING BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE. CREEKSIDE CONDOS WERE SO CONVENIENT AND CLOSE TO ALMOST EVERY ATTRACTION THERE IS IN ESTES PARK. SAFEWAY FOOD STORE IS ONLY A COUPLE MINUTES AWAY. THE NATIONAL PARK IS ABOUT A FIVE MINUTE DRIVE. IF YOU PLAN ON VISITING ESTES PARK I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING OUT CREEKSIDE CONDOS BEFORE YOU WENT ANYWHERE ELSE.
