The Quarters Inn & Suites, Rantoul

My family of 5 needed a hotel in Rantoul, IL and we were stunned when we found out that everything was booked all over town. This hotel was the only one who offered to put us on a waiting list. They got us into the hotel and even got us in early. The customer service was AMAZING!!! Sherry, Jason, and Marie were the best at making sure that we were happy and WELL taken care of. The pool was fantastic and the hot tub was perfect. The breakfast was always fresh, and nice variation of items. The dryers were great and the rooms were better than expected for the price. I have stayed at other hotels in this area and will ALWAYS stay at this one from now on. If you want a customer friendly, clean, great priced place to call home for a night or few nights, this is the place to go. ENjoy your stay!!

We stayed at this dump for a tournament for two youth soccer teams. Where shall I begin? My personal experience included first having to switch rooms twice to find a room without black mold separating the wallpaper. Ultimately, we had to drop this objection as every room had mold on the wall. There were also spiders as big as my hand crawling up the wall. The breakfast buffet was fine for kids, I must admit. I came home with bedbug bites all over my body. Another mother had bites so severe that she required oral steroid treatment. Another mother decided not to take a shower after she found insects crawling up the drain. Several parents reported cockroaches in their room. I give this place a big "eww GROSS!"

I have stayed here a couple times. The pool/hot tub was great, the kids loved them. The rooms were nice. It was great to have conjoining rooms, one for the kids, one for the adults, plus cable TV in both rooms. They offered a nice breakfast also. For the price, this place is great. We are planning on going back for the pool and hot tub, a weekend get away.

Our three night stay here was a good experience. The rooms were clean and the breakfast offered was quite adequate. Check-in was a breeze and parking was great. We liked the location and found the ride back and forth to Urbana no problem. The only complaint we had was that the second night of our stay the hotel was filled with teenagers in for a game and they were noisy. Could happen in any hotel. You cannot beat the price for what you get.

Excellent is the best way to describe my stay! Staff is very friendly and the room was great! The price,you just can't beat it! I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in the area!

I have not actually stayed here but have had relatives. We have "pool" Parties there. The indoor pool is really nice. The rooms have a kitchenette. We have pizza and pool. It is a great time for the kids. Very private, nicely priced.

The hotel has undergone a recent renovation. The new owner has put in new carpet and beds in all rooms. He is constructing an indoor pool, which is near completion. The staff goes our of their way to make sure that all guest have a pleasant stay.

For my September 2005 wedding, my husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon suite at the Quarters Inn (Fanmarker Inn). The room was wonderful, but we unfortunately had a horrible experience which is why we will NEVER RETURN there and will never advise others to stay there. We had left a bag in our room, and called after we had left to have them set it aside for us, but they said that the cleaning staff never found anything. That bag happened to contain our dollar dance money and had $300 cash inside of it. The day after my wedding was not spent with friends and family, it was not spent packing for the honeymoon; instead it was spent at the Rantoul Police Department filing a report. Unfortunately since it was our word against the cleaning staff, nothing was ever found, and the case was dropped. With all the business that we gave them for our wedding, we never received an apology. Not a “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” or “sorry that your wedding experience has been ruined”. Think twice before you book this hotel for either a quick stay or for your wedding and guests. They are not to be trusted!!!!!

I like quarters Inn there are two buildings of rooms one was being renovated when we were there in Feb of 2005 I'm just getting ready to make reservations for 2006. there are kitchenettes in the rooms and they have tanning beds on site too! Special rates if your attending an event at Gordyville USA!

Nice place,decent amenities such as suites with coffee makers,ironing board ans iron,lounge chair and more!
