Four Points by Sheraton Houston Southwest, Houston

My wife and I had our first stay on March 30th this year and again on 26th & 27th of April. My wife had appointments at St. Lukes Methodist for a liver condition. On both times our experiences with the hotel and staff were excellent. The rooms were clean and due to my wife's condition we were placed in a room with features for the handicap. We ate in the resturant on both of our visits and the food was consistantly great. The staff is personable and are quick to assist when ever needed. The second time around, Ms. Linda Dewitt was extremely helpful to us. In addition the Hotel runs a shuttle service to the Medical Center hospitals and clinics, therefore we didn't have to drive there and find parking. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for a quality Hotel to stay at while in Houston.

I had seen mixed reviews on various sites for this hotel, but the "good" reviews seemed to be more plentiful than the bad, so I went ahead, and I'm SO glad I did! The hotel was easy to find, right off the expressway. Parking was a little bit of a walk, but well lit and felt safe. The hallway of our floor smelled slightly musty, but that went away once we were in our room, which was fantastic--spacious, comfy, fully renovated. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable--my only complaint was that they had the down pillows that just squish down to nothing once you lay on them, so you had to double them over or sleep on two. But we slept well, all the way through the night--even with being on the expressway side of the hotel. We could hear some traffic noise, but not enough to disturb an average sleeper. Shower was excellent--great water pressure, plenty of hot water, and a nice adjustable stream showerhead. Only real complaint is that they charge for breakfast--even just continental is $7, and we had trouble finding a breakfast spot around this neighborhood that wasn't fast food--so do some Googling for eateries before your trip. Supposedly LePeep is not too far away and very recommended.

TERRIBLE STAFF AND MGMT DID NOT HAVE CORRECT RESERVATIONS AND WERE NOT BEING COOPERATIVE EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

the location was great but that was all. The service desk was apparently only for checking in and out not for anything else. We thought the room was clean but after our 9month old crawled on the floor her feet and knees were black--coal miner black-- it did not look too dirty and was obviously just vaccuumed. The room was MUGGY we could not get it cool(even thou the temp said it was 71) they added the curved shower curtain rod which was great but because the bathroom was small the door would not open all the way. The ice machine did not work(2nd floor) on our floor not sure about any other floors. The overall look of the hotel was very nice but was not worth it.--plus the dead roach we saw in the corner when we were getting ready to go. ps they say free comp. water in the room--it is one water bottle

For the location and the Brand, this hotel offered a wonderful package. The rooms were decent and the layout was perfect for my stay. The Bar Lounge served its purpose and most of all the rate was VERY attractive!!!

It was clean, the staff was very nice, it was quiet, I would certainly stay here on my next trip. The restaurant has good food and the parking was great
