Dissapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/2/07
Very dissapointed that the Eiffel Tower Retaurant would not open a bottle of wine I walked in with. I was told that it was Nevada law that alcohol was not allowed to be brought in from the outside, The next night at the Circo restaurant at the Bellagio they had no problem with me bringing in a bottle of wine as long as it was not on their wine list..............

Saturated with cigarette smoke
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/07
The hotel is saturated with cigarette smoke. And the noise level in the casino is deafening. The Mon Amis, a French bistro, was good, but ruined by noise and cigarette smoke from the casino. There are hordes of people.

not too shabby
By Mark Co, 3/5/04
This is the ultimate place to watch the NCAA Basketball Tournament, as the hotel uses their theater to show the games on four huge screens that hang above the stage. Awesome!

Nice sky
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/5/04
I cant believe how the mall has a sky on the ceiling; it makes me not want to sleep ever. I think its a conspiracy. Plus, the group Pen15 makes G ga-ga for Paris.

just average
By Hui Yin, 9/7/04
i just didn't click with paris. The room is standard, no charactor, no details. swimming pool is crowded.

the eiffel tower experience is disappointing, after waited for 30 mins in line, we were told that they have to close early that day. the ticket is only good for a day, so we had to wait in line for another 30 min to get refund. we tried the second day, and got up that time. but we cannot see much up there because all those protection metal nets. i can see much better view from my hotel rooms. i wish i can get my time and money back.

i had bad experience with the spa too. after the so-so spa treatment, i noticed that i was charged for additional $50 because they say i didn't return my locker key. there goes another 1 hour of my vacation time talking to them. explaining i have no interests with keeping their locker key.

the only good thing i remember about paris is the desert of their buffet. so, i give it a 3 star instead of 1.

Not the best themed hotel
By Simon, 9/2/05
Paris falls short of expectations set by New York, New York. Overall the experience is far from bad, but for a themed hotel they're falling way short of the mark. The rooms are clean, most of the staff are helpful and it's in a good location. One other issue I had was trying to find a rest room. I took ages to find somewhere to take a leak!

We cant see going there again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/24/05
We attended the Burger King Convention at this hotel Paris Las Vegas on May 14th to the 21st. We arrived around 2 am on the 15th to check in. To our surprise we had no rooms. We spent about 45 to 60 minutes at the reservation desk while your staff looked for some accommodations. We had 3 rooms booked. We were traveling with 3 children, 2 senior citizens and 4 adults. We were given rooms for the night and we were told to check out of the rooms by 11 am on Sunday the 22nd. We did not receive the accommodations that we booked and paid for; (two beds per room and one roll away bed). Some of us slept on the floor. Around 11 am Sunday the 22nd we went to check out and receive our new rooms. We were told the rooms were not ready yet but we could leave our luggage until the rooms were ready, around 3 pm. However if we kept room #3023, they would not have to change. We did this for the convenience of the seniors traveling with us. We returned around 3 pm and received our two rooms with two beds and still no rollaway bed as we requested during our initial reservation. We returned to the front desk and they stated that was not allowed. After some discussion we were given the rollaway bed. We should have been told about this policy during our initial reservations and I would have to book adjuring rooms. We were crammed in this room for six days and nights! Not one manager apologized or made an effort to accommodate us in any way. During my first 12 hours in Vegas 3 hours were spent getting this mess corrected due to no fault of ours, so that we would all have a bed! As a businessman who deals with the public daily. I found your staff Stepford like and uncaringly cold. But they were polite with yes sir, no sir. I thought you would like to know how disappointed we were, expecting 5 star service and getting nothing close. Talking with many fellow convention members, similar attitudes were felt about your hotel. Remember 1 dissatisfied customer will tell 10 and so on. We have stayed at many Vegas hotels; this was our first time at the Paris. I am hard pressed to find a reason to return. I believe your staff needs to be more accommodating to its guests. With so many hotels to choose from, I await your reply as to why I should choose Paris as my hotel.
