Motel 6 Atlanta Airport North, East Point

Filthy throuought the inside. Desk service was rude. Police in and out due to some towing company booting cars in the parking lot. Working girls also here.

We stayed here at both the front and back end of our trip. The first part was fine. Room OK and seemed clean. No frills, but no complaints. Back end was a different story -- arrived at midnight. Room was filthy, toilet backed up (and we hadn't even used it yet), peeling furniture, missing drain plug in sink. Called front desk, no answer, so had to go down to the desk. Security told us clerk was gone next door to Wendy's, so had to wait for his return. He switched rooms for us, but 2nd one only slightly better because toilet worked, even though it was loose from the wall. I couldn't sleep the entire night, imagining bugs crawling all over me. What a dump. Location by airport is perfect. Shuttle drivers to airport very courteous and prompt. This place is in serious need of an overhaul/renovation.

The front desk made you feel as if you were interupting them, only had 1 wash cloth, used soap in the bathtub, water drained onto the floor when using the shower and could see previous stains from repeated drainage, alarm did not work on alarm clock nor did using the wakeup call option on their phone system (almost missed the plane). Calling corporate customer relations is a joke, third week in a row and the manager from this motel has yet to call back or compensate. Highly discourage from using.

My advice...don't let the outside fool you. The outside looks new but when I walked in I should have let them smell convince me to find another place. The room was dark and the carpet stained. The shower was absolutely horrible. The shower would spit out water and the tub didn't drain properly so there was at least 2 inches of water in the tub while showering. Overall...I will never return. Next time I'll sleep in the airport.

I missed my flight and Delta sent me to the Red Roof in at a negociated price that was only about $6 less than normal price. The room was dark and dingey, no coffee pot, no wash clothes, no frills and smelled of mold. The remote in my room did not work and bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were worn. I had to call to get a reciept and although I did get one, when I thanked them they just hung up with no response. It worked for an emergency but never again.

Front Desk understaffed - no customer service. 2 rooms rented - both dark and not very clean. Shuttle to airport - OK Shuttle from airport - could not find/unavailable (after 12 midnight) Called hotel 3 times to inquire about shuttle from airport (after midnight). Twice was put on indefinite hold. Third time was told to look for bus/van with Red Roof Inn on it. The person then hung up even though I still was asking questions about boarding point. Would not give a receipt for room or parking. Said it would show up on credit card bill. My advice would be to find somewhere else to stay even if it cost more money. This was no deal!!

The room looked dark and dreary. It also felt unclean. My daughter didn't want to sleep in the bed and said she wasn't going to sleep. We both pulled back the cover and slept on the sheets only. The bathroom vanity area was too small. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Probably okay for people with pets only.
