We spent 5 days at this hotel and loved the suite and grounds. The price is very reasonable too. However, all of that was overshadowed by noisy upstairs "neighbors" .. twice during our stay. We specifically asked for a quiet room and for the first 2 nights, it was. Then we had 2 separate families moved in above us with kids who ran and jumped above us late into the night. We chose a ground floor room since there are no elevators in this hotel. We just had no idea how little soundproofing there was between floors. We finally had to call the desk to ask if they could intervene so we could get some sleep. They weren't thrilled to do that, but finally did when we persisted. The hotel was not full .. we noticed many, many vacant rooms. We just wondered what the thinking was putting families with young kids above an older couple .. twice in one week .. especially after we complained!! It was our first and last stay here. If noisy neighbors don't bother you, you might find it a great place. But for us, it was not.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

We stayed here initially to be close to family over spring break while we also visited downtown D.C. The cost of the stay was less than if we'd stayed closer to the mall even with the cost of metro tickets for 3. The amenities were spot on for what we needed. We cooked our own meals sometimes, had a great breakfast provided every day and the hotel shuttle took us to the metro each morning(if you are staying a week or more, buy the week long metro ticket so you can travel before 9:30 am). The rooms were cleaned and beds made everyday. The furnishings are elegant. All the staff were wonderful. Malls and eateries within 2 or 3 miles if you need them, but groceries near by. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property is very clean, bright and quiet. The rooms are one bedroom suites with a full kitchen complete with a small set of utensils, dishes, items needed to use to cook for oneself. Daily housekeeping plus a newspaper at the door each morning. Continental breakfast in the lobby each day.

There was nothing really to dislike, it was wonderful there and i loved the service.the service was wonderful because they could come and help you with anything you needed, they were also very friendly and were a great help. The rooms were great in terms of size and cleanliness. The suites were spectacular and would be great for families and couples. All in all this hotel was great.

We have stayed several times while visiting the area. It it always clean and comfortable. A full breakfast is available,with many choices,which is nice, although the scrambled eggs taste like powdered. THe suites are roomy and pleasant. We have been able to bring our dog, and their is a dog run on the property.

I've stayed at Summerfield Suites 3 times, once on all three floors and different areas of the buildings, and I can't think of ONE thing that I disliked about this hotel. Everything was clean, staff was great, the breakfast was more than I could have asked for, the room was impeccable and I will continue to stay at Summerfield whenever I visit the DC area. Thanks!

Enjoyed staying there as it was close to stores and mass transit into D.C. Quiet and comfortable. Resturants were not far away. Will stay there again with my family.

The rooms were clean, check in was breese, parking was easy, and the complimentary breakfast is incredible. It is a little off the main roads, but Mappoint/Mapquest will lead you right to the front. There is no covered spot to park for check in by the front door, but there are dedicated parking spots close by. Sign up for 'Wyndam by Request' and get a free beverage and snack in your room before you arrive- also free internet for the length of your stay! I think it is only wired as I cannot find a usable wireless intnernet in the area. All-in-all it was a great stay and I will stay here again if I am in the Baltimore area...

i loved the layout of the suite and the amenities for our weekend stay were wonderful and quaint
