GOT THERE LATE FROM DRIVING IN FROM MISSISSIPPI, AND NIGHT GUY WAS VERY POLITE, BUT I WAS ON THE 3RD FLOOR AND SOMEONE MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN TO TELL ME THERE WAS A PARTY!!!! THE GUEST 3 DOORS DOWN WERE LOUD!!! I WAS SCARED TO GO THE ICE MACHINE!!!!! I WOULDNT GO THERE IF I WERE YOU!!!!!

Stay was ok but We will not be going back..

Arrived a little before 3pm (check in time) and was told that we had to leave and that check in time was at 3pm. We got back to the hotel around 3:40pm / checked in and was told that our room might not be clean yet. It took another 30 minutes before we could get into our room / seen plenty of housekeepers around our room (but that long to clean?). Wireless internet was ok but did not have good connection(usually connected at poor to fair and that was on 2 different ones)

We stayed at Microtel which was a little further away from LSU than I wanted, but not very far. As soon as we walked into the hotel, I was glad we did. We were greeted so nicely by Terri, the General Manager. When we went into our room, the air conditioner wasn't working so we told Terri. By the time we got back from shopping, she had a new one already installed. She really cares about the guests. In the breakfast area there was an employee named Paula. She was right there waiting to help and get you anything you needed. She almost seemed like family to other guests who had been there for a longer stay. The hospitality is exceptional and is what will be bringing us back.

Stay Clear

Scary place, rough clientel, and rooms are dirty!!! Not a place for children or adults looking for a safe place for a good nights rest. The patrons in the room next door had forced open the adjoining door to our room and were using our room to entertain 'clients' while we were not there. When night managment was notified, managment shut the adjoining door and assured us it would be safe now. They refused to give us another room or CLEAN the room they used. The room was unsanitary..bed was slept in, bathroom was a mess, cigarrett butts left in the toilet, etc. not to mention how unsettling this experience was to know someone else had been in my room. Day manager and owner refuse to acknowledge or respond to my request to speak to them upon checkout.

Best value for the money! The breakfast is the biggest and the best "continental" I have ever had. The beds are new and very cofortable, they have completely remodeled and up dated the entire place. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A beutiful place to stay and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Friendliest staff I've ever seen

we stayed the weekend of 11/11/06 for an LSU game. The price was great and the people at check-in,breakfast area and staff in general couldn't have been nicer. Location to LSU and Mall of La is great. We're staying at this motel next season.

Do you like EATING BUGS? I DONT

Oh my.... My friend and I recently stayed here. Not only was the service horrible, there were bugs all in the drinks served with the so called "continental" breakfast. If you call one muffin and a banana out on a counter half eaten a breakest, then so be it. It was so nasty, please, do not stay here. When I told the manager there were bugs in their orange juice and apple juice machine, he looked at me like I was crazy. GROSS

The Worst Hotel I have EVER stayed in

My husbands company booked this hotel for us. Not a good choice. We had a non-smoking room that had cigarette burns in the sheets, blankets, comforters,chairs... you name it. I made the fatal error of walking from the bathroom to the bed without my shoes on, my feet were completely black! It was a filthy, disgusting hotel. The staff was very unpleasant. One of the maids used fowl language in front of my young child. They say that they have wireless Internet connection, but they did not. No hairdryers or irons in the rooms. The pool was filthy and disgusting. We asked for more towels, and never received them. The list could go on and on... I was just glad to leave. I would advise you to steer clear!

A Decent Hotel Stay

Me and my husband arrived late in the day on Christmas Eve, and the hotel staff was polite and friendly. We were on our honeymoon, and we found the hotel room to be to our liking. We thought that the spa needed some cleaning, and when we requested extra towels, the clerk was a little less than nice that time, but overall it was a good place to stay.
