I really can't wait to go back

My stay at the Newport News Howard Johnson was my most pleasant hotel experience since staying at a four star hotel on the canal in Venice. The second floor porch with a lantern and wicker chair; the clean room with a ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave and complimentary popcorn and peanut butter crackers added a perfect touch. This was all spread with delicious icing by the staff. E. L. Hobgood

MAY STAND HERE AGAIN

Jefferson Avenue is like the Main Drag and near everything including the Highways to various Attractions - I64. Hotel rugs were dirty but the Service overall is good. Hotel employees are friendly and willing to help. The fridge we had didn't keep things very cold but they have an Ice machine. They have a place to wash your clothes but the dryer was busted.
