Will definately go back!

I stayed in the Malibu for four nights and was as happy there as I've been anywhere else I've ever stayed. They are very helpful if you need any information on local attractions or restaurants. I brought my small dog and there was a dog friendly park just across the street from the parking lot which was extremely convenient. I had a downstairs efficiency and it was just like living in an apartment. I only have two small issues and one is not their fault. The first is this. I had asked before I came down if there was Internet access in the rooms. They told me there was. Then when I got there, I guess because of the location of my room (on the end of the building) I had to take my computer outside to get access. The second issue, which as I said, I don't think they would have any control over, there was a power outage on my last night there and it burned out the power supply to my computer. I lived in Florida for 20 years and I know this is common in that area so I do not blame them for that. This is just a warning for other folks to bring a surge protector with you when you go to Florida (I forgot). Overall, I would not hesitate to go back, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to friends and relatives who are going to the area to visit. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and there are restaurants, liquor stores, convenience stores, etc, all close by, not to mention the beach right across the street. This hotel reminds me of what Florida would've been like forty years ago before the area got over-built and over-populated. It's the kind of atmosphere I like. It takes you back in time. If you stay at some of the other hotels in the area, all you are to them is a room number. Kim and Al are very accommodating and friendly and all the other guests at the time of my visit were also pleasant to be around. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
