What a wonderful July4th experience !!
By Samantha, 7/8/12
Staying at the Malibu Resort on North Redington Beach was an absolutely wonderful experience for my sister and I. The place is absolutely clean & well maintained. The rooms were very very clean, smelled nice,(no mustiness)Jeff ( manager) was always busy ensuring everyone had everything they needed to make their stay that much better. Always ensuring we had clean towels, etc. I liked staying here because it seemed like home. You could pretty much do whatever you wanted (within reason of course) and it's close to alot of different things to do. I will most definitely stay here again, and recommend the place to my family & friends.

Will definately go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/1/11
I stayed in the Malibu for four nights and was as happy there as I've been anywhere else I've ever stayed. They are very helpful if you need any information on local attractions or restaurants. I brought my small dog and there was a dog friendly park just across the street from the parking lot which was extremely convenient. I had a downstairs efficiency and it was just like living in an apartment. I only have two small issues and one is not their fault. The first is this. I had asked before I came down if there was Internet access in the rooms. They told me there was. Then when I got there, I guess because of the location of my room (on the end of the building) I had to take my computer outside to get access. The second issue, which as I said, I don't think they would have any control over, there was a power outage on my last night there and it burned out the power supply to my computer. I lived in Florida for 20 years and I know this is common in that area so I do not blame them for that. This is just a warning for other folks to bring a surge protector with you when you go to Florida (I forgot). Overall, I would not hesitate to go back, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to friends and relatives who are going to the area to visit. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and there are restaurants, liquor stores, convenience stores, etc, all close by, not to mention the beach right across the street. This hotel reminds me of what Florida would've been like forty years ago before the area got over-built and over-populated. It's the kind of atmosphere I like. It takes you back in time. If you stay at some of the other hotels in the area, all you are to them is a room number. Kim and Al are very accommodating and friendly and all the other guests at the time of my visit were also pleasant to be around. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Great establishment! Will return again soon!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/19/11
I just wanted to write a review about this place as I had a great time! Kim and Al, the owners, were the greatest people. They had supplies for the beach, great pool, and clean rooms. They had a pulled pork bbq on Sunday which was a great "amenity". Any one who left a bad review about this place was out of line. I will return again!! Thanks Kim and Al for making my vacation great! -James

Piece of heaven
By Pat, 3/22/11
We were greeted at the office and taken right to our room. After a full day of traveling I was ready to relax. Al and Kim took us in like family, they gave us the keys and said go get comfortable and see us in the morning. My husband does'nt like to travel, but he had the best time in years. We had cookouts and games. The pool was awesome and the other guests were great. We are coming back for a month next year.

COME TO OUR PARADISE!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/6/07
We love Terri and Cliff as they have been the managers for over 5 years. The place is so pleasent and completely one of the most cleanest and comfortable place that we have stayed. We have traveled all over the world and we only live 1 hour and we come here very often as just the friendly attention and personality. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this Hotel. They love our little dog and is very dog friendly. A++++++ The rates are very reasonable!!! Thanks so much!!

A small, cozy, clean, friendly place that is sooooo comfy!
By Terri, 2/11/06
I like the management, the new beautiful pool (including the sundial in the bottom of the pool), the friendliness and quaintness of the place. The garden area is tropical and beautiful. The managers take care of the place like they were the owners. Rooms are clean and fresh. Its one of the few small motels left (24 or 25 rooms) in the area. We had a one bedroom apartment. Very reasonable. It was actually hard to say goodbye. We booked for next year. The rooms have no phones (which I LIKE) and no alarm clocks (unless you ask for one). A pay phone is on the property. The office let me give their number for emergencies from family. We had a cookout for superbowl, and had so much fun. I give this place a very good rating and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to relax and enjoy. It is not for the type of person that wants nightlife all around them.

We've been going here for 20 years!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/1/06
My parents found this place in the 70's before I was even born (now 29) and we went back every spring for 10 years or so. We went back this winter for a weekend to re-experience it. It is just as it was - cute, clean and very 1960's (but in a good way). It is a nestalgic little place with a great pool and great service. It is so close to everything in the area, the beach is right across the street and a souvenier shop is right next door. It is well worth the small amount of money for a little hotel. The pool is great. They keep the grounds clean and care a lot about the place. The rooms are small and the beds aren't the greatest but not horrible. The rooms are quaint and clean. They could use new dishware and better towels - bring beach towels because their "body" towels are the size of most peoples' hand towels. The oven/stove in the "bigger" units are in need of replacement. But they are as clean as one could get them. If you go there you have to eat at the Conch Republic restaurant! Super food!!!
