I GOT BED BUGS FROM THIS HOTEL

I stayed at the Comfort Suites in Dillon for 1 night on 4/19/09 and walked away covered in bed bug bites. I asked the hotel to reimburse me just over $1000 for my expenses (medical bills, extermination costs, laundry, replacement items) and the owners decided to turn over the matter to their insurance company. I eventually did get reimbursed by their insurance, but not after a huge hassle of waiting for their adjuster to contact me and then fighting with the adjuster about the nature of bed bugs to justify my costs. I've been out the money for over 2 1/2 weeks now. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. The owners of the hotel never returned one of my phone calls, instead they relayed all communication through their manager. They did reimburse us for the 1 night stay, but never offered any other compensation for my trouble.

Perfect Overall

The staff was personable, the rooms were large and clean, shower was hot, the view was great, and the breakfast was delicious. Nice facility. The front desk seemed a little understaffed, with phone calls and customers and such. Location justifies the price, its about a 6 minute drive to the Keystone Ski Resort. Rooms on the mountain were 60 to 70 dollars higher. This hotel was in the center of town within walking distance of most restraunts and local shops. Hint: ask for a room on floors 2 or 3 with south view, I found that to be ideal.
