What a Great Find
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/09
We search the internet and came acroos The Villa. The rooms looked Great on line but when we arrived we had a little tour from the charming host Barbara. The Rooms were even better Live and In-Person. The Grounds were even beautiful after all the Flowers bloomed. I can just imagine how it looks during the summer. The Gazebo and lawn/flowers would be great for any small function. We even took a turn in the hammock. Very Relaxing! OK, so back to our experience. The Pool was closed, Boo, Hoo but there is a very large, in- ground jacuzzi. We had a great time at 102 degrees under the Stars. But the best part were the Breakfasts. This is so over the top. A full gourmet breakfast served in our Room. Eggs Benedict and Chocolate Waffle. Since we were there for 2 Breakfasts, we also had a Banana French Toast and obviously homemade Corned Beef Hash. It was great and we will come back, again and again and aqgain! Thank you Villa and Hosts Barbara and Michael.

After reading"homophobic" review, would not/never consider this. Have looked at it many times on line, but now If you offered it for free I wouldn't stay!

Watch out! Homophobic hosts!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/09
If you care at all about human rights and equality and you object racism, please don't give your money to this inn. Don't let the apparent kindness full you. I was about to order a weekend in the hostel for my honey-moon with my same-sex fiancee. But luckily, I found out before making the reservation that Barbara & Michael, the hosts, are quite homophobic. Barbara told me specifically that if I give my boyfriend a small kiss on the cheek near the pool and it bothered a potentially homophobic guest, she would pass on the complaint and ask us to stop (instead of simply telling the other guest he should mind his own business). She told me I was rude when I asked her if she'd do the same if a racist guest complained about a kiss of inter-racial couple. She next told me that I shouldn't bring the subject up if I talk to her husband, apparently because his reactions are even more extreme. She went on and suggested we travel to Provincetown, which is a more "pink" area, in her words. As if gay people have no place in RI...

Charming
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/07
The grounds are beautiful, with a garden-setting pool to lounge by after being on the beach all day. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own personality. The staff were available and helpful, yet never in the way. A wonderful get-away for couples, and well-worth it to treat yourself!!!
