When I think of the Crystal Hotel 2 words come to mind, Rat Hole. Every other hotel Gemini tours booked was just great but this place serious Rat Hole.

The worst i ever visited

I went to this hotel on June 2007 with my husband.It has an amazing location only!!! It was the worst hotel i have ever visited in my life. The A/C was not working in our room. It was in the 6th floor. The bathtub has a water drainig problem.The water will reach up to your knee while having shower!!! The place is full of flys and insects and they are always spraying the place.The reception workers are rude as if they work in the jail.The only smiling person was the young guy carrying our bags!!!! The breakfast was less than average. The first day we arrived there was no water in the hotel!!! we changed our hotel after less than 48hrs to Erisen hotel 50m far from this horable place we find big big difference in the cleaness,services and food quality!! If you want to enjoy your trip to istanbul, dont go to this misrable place.It is not designed for human beings!!!!

Don't Believe The Hype

I stayed at this hotel for 19 nights in Nov 2006. It is not as advertised..no live entertainment, it's definietly more along the lines of a 2-star joint. It is old, outdated, matresses are hard as rocks, the staff is friendly enough, but when the daily large tour groups are gathered around the reception area, you don't stand a chance to be noticed. The location isn't bad..it is near many restaurant varieties as well as many night spot options. Be aware of the very friendly fellows on the streets that wanna take you to "their" club or bar. it'll really cost you. The Crystal is basically geared towards the budget business traveller.
