Homewood Suites Crabtree, Raleigh

After a long plane ride from Hawaii, I was ready to relax in my room. Able to check in at 11:30 am, was pleasantly surprised by the room I was assigned! A suite - bedroom, full kitchen, two tvs - one in living room/kitchen and another in the bedroom. King sized bed, fluffy down pillows and comforter... I did check the bed for bed bugs - none found!!!! Microwave oven, full sized refrigerator, dish washer, fully stocked with dishes and flatware, free wifi.... Free breakfasts were served daily - from waffles, cereal, eggs, cheese omelets, oatmeal, corned beef, etc..... Free dinners from Mondays through Thursdays - with all the beer and wine you can drink from 5:30 till 7:30 pm Meeting room was spacious and comfy for 30 of us. A bit cold, but nothing a sweater couldnt fix.... walking distance from a very large shopping mall!! I highly recommend this place! Love to come back for any training or meeting!!

This place was great. I have three children (ages 1, 5, and 6) and the stay couldn't have been better. We arrived late at night, around 1:30 AM and the staff was very friendly even at this late hour. My whole stay, I did not encounter a single nasty employee. There is not a single thing I can think of to complain about. I will be staying here again.

First off, when you step inside your room, you immeadiatly think, Wow, this place is pretty and roomy too. Then after you get situated, you start looking at things in the room a little closer. The floor by the bed which is carpeted had a STRONG odor of urine, there where 3 pea sized drops of blood by the bathroom door which is also by the bed, the main comforter on the bed you will need to get rid of immeadiatly... it had rough spots on it from human bodily fluids which I could not believe. The room "looks" clean, but take a closer look and do not go without socks and don't let your babies or kids on the floor! Also, the toliet had small hairs on the seat which was very disgusting, and me and my daughter who is 10, woke up itching with red dots on our stomache area and legs. This room had bed bugs!!! Look elsewhere, your health is at risk here.

My family lives in Raleigh and every time we visit we stay at this hotel. We have never had a single complaint about noise, cleanliness, service, or anything. The only thing I personally would like to see is a healthier breakfast selection. The selection is huge, don't get me wrong, but pork sausage, eggs with sausage mixed in, bacon, etc. makes it difficult if one doesn't eat pork! The lobby/eating area is lovely and I particularly love the fireplace in the winter months. It's a great and convenient place to stay.

Don't miss this beautiful Homewood Crabtree Hotel! If you must stay in this area, you will want to stay here. Close to Cheesecake Factory, high end eateries, a modern posh shopping arena. You can travel to the main city from here also, if you desire. I was on a road trip, and felt so safe and at home here, I didn't want to leave. I had a 2 room suite with 2 TV's, a little kitchen, big windows with loads of natural light shining through. I could live here. The staff was helpful and friendly. They gave me directions, offered to help in any way that they could. They made it like a home away from home! Hope Homewood knows they have a great group of workers. So, Yes, I recommend this hotel highly. Good Luck on your travels.

I don't think there is one thing we disliked about our two night stay. We actually wanted to stay longer! The rooms were so nice. The service was wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding. We had 3 young kids with us and they enjoyed spending time in front of the large fireplace in the lobby in the evenings. The staff was very accomadating and we found them to be very kid friendly. I'd stay there again and again.

The sales managers were nice, over the phone, however, weren't as easy to deal with as i had wished. I work for another company and had to plan a large business meeting with many people staying overnight from across the world there. Needless to say, a lot of forms were faxed and emailed back and fourth. I was a little disappointed when it seemed like the people working with me from Homewood didn't take any time to look over anything we had written. Mistakes all through each form, so it took days to straighten everything out and to be done planning this 2.5 day meeting!

We only wanted to stay there for one night but after enjoying the ammenities and the wonderful service, we decided to stay there for four nights. It was really a pleasant place. They have a fitness center. They have complementary breakfast in the morning which included, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, milk, juices, and anything that you could ask for in the morning! The hotel is located next to a beautiful mall and within walking distance to restaurants like P.F Changs and The Cheesecake Factory. The rooms have kitchens with dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigetaror, etc. Highly recommended!

THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL AND HELPFUL. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE AREA. THE ROOM WAS BETTER THAN WE COULD IMAGINE. THE ROOM WAS HUGE AND LOOKED BRAND NEW!!! The lobby was beatiful with its large fireplace and high ceilings. WE WILL BE GOING BACK!!!

I LIKED THE BIG OPEN FIREPLACE AS YOU ENTER THE BUILDING. I LIKED THE HAPPY HOUR SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO DRIVE. I LIKED THE LOCATION NEAR THE MALL. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS GREAT! THE BREAKFAST IS BETTER THAN AVERAGE ANYWHERE I HAVE STAYED. I HAVE STAYED HERE FOUR TIMES AND AM CHECKING BACK IN TODAY.
