Candlewood Suites Hampton, Hampton

This is a great extended stay hotel if you just need a comfortable place to sleep. Limited cable channels and no pool. They have a gazebo and BBQ grill out back. I stayed for 5 months. Close to freeways and there is a great 3 mile walking/jogging trail across the street. Laundry is free and they have a 24-hour "store" for forgotten food and toiletries. The other post about stolen laundry makes me think he left his clothes alone for an extended period. I haven't had a problem but then I go back right when the machine cycle is complete. Room cleaning is done weekly which is nice for privacy but not for fresh towels. You can get clean towels at the front desk with not problem. The staff is very friendly and they receive your mail if someone send you something (I got a laptop delivered while staying). The hotel is in a quiet area compared to other hotels in the area. The lobby is quite small and just big enought to check-in/out so if you like to meet or relax in the lobby, this isn't quite the place for you. For the price, it is worth the money.

Have stayed several times; Now is the only place we stay when in Hampton which is quite often since our son goes to school there; Always Clean; Courteous desk staff; Has a full kitchen if needed; They don't clean the rooms daily, but not a major problem. Had a problem once with the air not working, but once reported the desk staff responded right away; Also received a weird phone call from the desk once a few minutes before check out time, did not appreciate that. However, that has not stopped me from staying.

well the place look clean , good servive , the employees are very friendly and more like become a friends . Internet is not that good in some cases . if it was a pool it will be even better . thanks Sam Hamama

Good experience--nice people working at the desk; cleaning of rooms only on request--not daily. Accommodating. Good honor store for food and supplies. convenient to business locations and to Langley AFB.

I am an active duty AF member and I stayed there while TDYS to Langley AFB. During my second night, I did laundery and someone stole all my laundry out of the dryer -- jeans, sweatshirts, t-shirts -- a couple clothing items that I had gotten in Thailand. The laundry room requires a card to get in -- so it was either another guest or staff.
