Microtel Inn Atlanta Galleria Area, Smyrna

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at the rooms are nasty. I had to change rooms before I was in the room good because there were little silver looking bugs coming from under the air unit in the room. The bathroom floor is just nasty and was a big red spot on the left side of the toilet that looked like blood or iodine had been sitting there way to long. I have stayed at old places before but they have been kept up better than this

Disgustingly dirty. Even in no smoking room cigarette burns every square feet in thread bear sheets, throughout the carpet. Water leaking through the roof in the breakfast area. I slept with my clothes on for fear of bed bugs and stepping on the unvaccumed floor. I reserved for a week but checked out after 1st night. The outside looks nice but it is deceiving. It is a lie that this place was renovated in 2007. Should be shut down.

From the very start of my stay at this hotel was awful. When we checked in the rooms were not available. The clerk had to go upstairs to see what rooms were ready. My room had no AIR and it was 90 degrees outside. I told the front desk and all they could say is that they would check for another room. I checked back with them later that evening and still no room. On sunday they were still checking and still no rooms available. I checked out on monday and told them that the room was very hot. All they did was apologize. I went back home to Indiana and realized I left my jewerly in the room. I called front desk and when the guy answer all he said was no noone turned in your jewerly. I called corporate and was helped by a very friendly woman. She called this location and within an hour someone called me back and they somehow found my jewerly. The manager REFUSED to do anything to make me feel better about the hotel. Luckly corporate has faith in their customers and I was sent a $20 gift certificate to be used at another Microtel. One thing for sure is I will not be back at this hotel.

Will stay again, clean recently rennovated hotel. Great location and nice rooms, help full staff that listen. Came from a hotel across the street and was so happy about the cold ac in the rooms!
