Sunset Condos in Belize, San Pedro

there is a dog that lives in the house behind these condos that starts barking at 5 am. We asked the management to speak to the owners but to no avail. I will never stay there again!!!

We had a great vacation. We stayed here mainly because it was the only place we could find with availability. We agree that the couple young girls working in the office were delightful. Unfortunately the accomodations were not as luxurious as we hoped and we honestly thought the condo at Caribe island was a little rough around the edges. The beach was nice. The diving was radical. The bar and the bartender were fun (but loud at times because the bar is in the middle of the hotel). Other than that we went with the flow and had an awesome time on the island.

We have traveled many places in our life, but once we visited Belize, we stopped looking elsewhere. It is uncommercialized and refreshingly rejuvienating. We have visited Caribe Island Resort several times over the past few years, watched the quality of management grow, improve and change three times over and it simply keeps getting better. During our July 2005 trip, we were blown away with the accomodating, caring and professional staff. Each time we asked for a tour, dinner reservation, or whatever, the gals in the office filled our request with effortless speed. Plus they constantly check on us to make sure our needs were being met during the trip. We were thrilled with the treatment, appreciated such respect and wanted to commend the staff for such a wonderful vacation! As always, the rooms were spotless, the beach was breathtaking, and the grounds just keep getting more beautiful over time as the lush tropical foilage grows fuller each year. I would stay no other place and highly recommend Caribe Island Resort to any one wanting to visit the wonderful island if Ambergris Caye. If you haven't been yet, we recommend you go! Whether you stay at this wonderful resort, or elsewhere, you most likely will want to make it an annual adventure!
