Absolutely amazing
By ,
I came to this hotel with my 5 children while my husband was unable to join us. I was very thankful for a place that would allow me to have all my children with me in one room. The staff were wonderful. We had a little trouble with a doorknob that was fixed within 5 minutes of our arrival. I was quite impressed by a man in a suit restocking the swimming pool towel container. Breakfast was fabulous. I am a picky eater as are some of my children. There were plenty of options for all of us. Loved that there is a safe in each room to protect valuables. I would absolutely recommend this hotel the ANYONE. I loved my first stay at a Hyatt.

Good value for the price
By ,
I stayed recently and paid the federal government per diem rate. The hotel was impeccable. The staff friendly and helpful. The wine we had at the bar was of good quality given the price. The rooms are spacious and the bedding really comfortable. I have spurs in my neck so the firm pillows were a welcome surprise. I have stayed at much more expensive and higher rated hotels that have the softest pillow. The complimentary breakfast is more than enough with fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, bagels and bread. The hot breakfast was not unreasonable but don't expect much given the limitations of the kitchen. I disagree with the availability of restaurants in the area. Most if not all are the standard chain variety. If you can, make the trek to Cheevers instead.

Weekend warrior

I am in the army and like to get away from the crew cuts and the hi and tights every now and then. I found the hotel on an internet site and as always am a little unsure of what I am about to get. When I got to the hotel I was immediatly impressed with the lobby, however, I was infomred that check in wouldn't be until 3pm so I went and sat in my car for over an hour while I watched person after person couple after couple check in. I finally went in and to the clerk my situation and she gladly checked me in early (thank you ROSE). After that the room took my breath away the entertainment area, the bed, and the wet bar were amazing it's hard to believe I got that room for that price. I've paid overly $300 for a similar room. I will definately stay there again.

Sleepless in Oklahoma City, OK
By ,
Everything was great right up till bedtime. It was hot in our room even tho the temp. outside was in the 40's so I turned the AC on (big mistake) I got up like 3 or 4 times to keep turning it up! We were burning up and heaven forbid everytime anyone even attempted to doze off to sleep the AC would kick on and RATTLE RATTLE OMG it sounded like something was trying to get out of it! So beware of room #412!!! My poor father had eye surgery earlier that day and was so tired not to mention the drive to get there was like 2 1/2 hours. Bring your ear plugs for sure or hope for freezing weather. Sincerely, Tired in OK.

Multiple Visitor!!!
By ,
Traveled all over the world and this Hotel can't be beat for the price! The same room goes for $395 a night in vegas...! Very cool newly remodeled rooms with killer flat screens and entertainment hook up so you can plug in your dvd players or Ipods and listen thru the flat screen. Cool little wet bar area and refridgerator. Great locations to resturants so you can walk to have drinks and not worry about driving back. I recommend to anyone who likes a decent room for a great price. I have stayed there 6 out of the 7 visits I have been to OKC in the past 3 months on business. Tried the Courtyard and went back to the Hyatt. I give a big OKC YEEHAW to anyone who is considering staying here! =)

Poor customer service!
By ,
We arrived late on the night before Thanksgiving wanting to sleep in, but the housekeeper started knocking on our door at 9:30 am. At 10:45am she knocked again and stated, "you're my last room". I asked her to give us 30 more minutes then we're leaving and she said okay. We arrived back at the hotel later Thanksgiving night and the room had not been cleaned. The desk clerk offered every excuse he could think of. He seemed to think it was more important for housekeeping to get off work early than to clean our room and bring clean towels. This is a renovated hotel that did not clean up its service, I won't be back.

Excellent staff!!
By ,
I typically do not write reviews on the employees of a hotel instead of the property itself, but I was just astounded by the staff at this location. The staff of the Oklahoma City Airport location is phenomenal. Wanda (breakfast crew) did everything possible to ensure a pleasurable meal. She is so sweet and has a great attitude at such an early time of the morning. David (front desk) Check in was a breeze with David checking me in. I've never seen a front desk person give me so many options when checking in. I stayed at this hotel for a couple of weeks and David was never too busy to assist me with directions to and from jobsites. I admire David's "can-do" attitude when attending to guest's needs. He is a great asset to the hotel. Shanee (housekeeping) Always had a big smile on her face regardless of what was going on in the hotel that day. She always looked very busy, but, always took the time to stop and ask me if I was enjoying my stay. The rest of the staff were awesome as well, I just didn't catch their names to recognize their great service. Management of this hotel should be very proud of their staff. Management has done a great job training them. I will not hesitate referring my friends and business associates to this hotel or the brand in general.

Overall it was okay
By ,
The hotel went from Amerisuites to Hyatt Place but I didn't know that when I made my reservation so I was looking for Amerisuites when I arrived in OKC. Check in was easy, but they were in the process of renovating around the lobby area and some entrances were closed. The room itself was very nice. A huge sofa, nice bar area, nice big bed and roomy bathroom area. The best part is the 42" HD flat panel TV...definitely the best in any nice hotel I've stayed in. I had a toilet overflow, which was bad and didn't expect that in a high end hotel. I called the front desk and they sent someone in quickly, but I was afraid to flush after that worried that it might happen again. I stayed on the 6th floor and although the advertisement on the amenities was free internet, I was barely able to keep a connection long enough to do any work and I had to move around the room to find just a weak connection so I didn't like that at all. The location is good...near the airport, and near some great restaurants and convenience stores. I would stay again if they fixed the internet service.

I hope you get to meet Herbert
By ,
This hotel is the process of changing to the Hyatt Place. Be sure and request the newly remodeled rooms they are fabulous with 42 inch Plasma screens that you wish you could take home. The TV can be seen by both beds and the incredible modular couch that makes into a bed also. The counter tops are granite and the refrigeration is more than enough for drinks and food. The beds and bedding are scrumptous. If you have the pleasure of meeting Herbert he is definately a fine individual that always makes you feel that he cares if you are satisfied. His smiling face and individual attention always made me feel at home each time I passed the front desk. You know right away that his people skills are home grown and something that could never be taught. I know that the new organization will be represented well with the talents of Herbert.
