EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY
By Carrie Kinder, 12/19/11
The rooms have a fridge microwave and are very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to meet your needs. The hotel has an on site laundry facility and pool and is in a quite but convienient location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for resonable prices, friendly staff, clean rooms and a good location. Thumbs Up!!!!!

Best in Town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/11
I stayed with my mother before a long drive back to Oklahoma, and to tell the truth, it's the best hotel I've stayed in-in all of Tahlequah, and I lived there for eight years. If you ever need a place where you're treated well, eat good, hot breakfast in the morning, and can take a cool swim without the water being green; I suggest Oak Hill feverently. It's great for families; it comes with wifi for those computer obsessors, and TV for the kids. Don't forget about the amazing customer service--we got towels when we wanted, and they were always very nice.

Would not go again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/15/11
If you don't mind ants all over the bathroom and dirt on the ceiling fan in the room, you'll do fine. The owners don't ask how your stay was and I believe for good reason! My final comments: I wouldn't stay here again if it were free.

Will not return.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/15/10
We received a smoking room after booking a non smoking room. At check-in was told not to use the ceiling fan because it made too much noise. Counters were dirty, stained and the light switch covers hadn't been wiped off since the hotel was bulit. Also was told if I'd book with the hotel it would have been cheaper than booking online. We stayed only one night instead of two after cleaning the room with clorox wipes.

NO PETS ALLOWED!!
By Cadillacokeefe, 11/30/09
Don't be duped by the advertising that says they allow pets. We specifically booked a room here because they advertised in the local Chamber of Commerce guide & on line that they take pets only to find out after we got there that they don't. Our pets slept in the truck & we were still charged a $50 fee for them even though they weren't in the room. The fee is also not posted anywhere that we could see. The management was argumentative and refused to refund the additional unauthorized fee that was charged to our credit card even after we explained that our pets were not in the room. We would not stay here again.

No Problem
By Sarah, 7/29/09
I am a traveling physical therapist and I relocated to the Tahlequah area for 3 months. Oak Hill offered a reduced rate for my long term stay at a very reasonable price. Cleanliness was average for a hotel. Wireless internet ranged from good to excellent. It is roomier than most hotels today. I never had a problem with insects or rodents. What I liked most, is that my non-smoking room actually didn't smell like smoke which is a plus considering I have bad allergies. There was only one weekend that I could not be accommodated, and I stayed at the Motor Inn which is similar in price, but not in service or quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially as an extended stay.

Highly Recommend!!
By Donna, 7/17/09
I had out-patient knee surgery in Tahlequah, and since I lived almost 2 hours away, made a reservation to stay that night at this motel. They gave us a reduced rate and were VERY accommodating. It was clean and comfortable and the people were very nice. It was not luxurious, but did have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee packet, etc. It was perfect for my purposes and a great value. I would stay there again anytime I need to stay in Tahlequah, surgery or not! I found nothing to complain about and I highly recommend this motel.

Last Stay
By Tim, 5/14/09
I stayed here many times in the last 30+ years; sadly, this will be the last. The quality of accomodations has dropped drastically in the last year; always a danger in older motels. There are too many choices in the Tahlequah area today to put up with ants, spotty internet service, poor water pressure and hot water in the morning only. Still the best price for a float-trip stopover, though.

It is really a cool place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/3/08
The people who work there are really nice. The hotel is close to both of the casinos. There is a really good Mexican restaurant next to the hotel. Rooms were clean and the bed were just right.
