STAY AWAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/2/09
Room was dirty, sheets not changed, razor blade in tub, dark ring around tub, hair in sink, toilet dirty but the towels were clean. Hotel did not have housekeeping at 9 pm and no other rooms so they gave me cleaning supplies to clean my own room and sheets to change the bed. They do not have clean blankets or comforters as these are not changed. After the night from hell the hotel manager refused to comp my room so I paid $115 plus tax for this pit. STAY AWAY.

Do not stay here.
By Northwest, 7/7/08
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was satisfactory, although a picky person (I'm a US Marine, so I'll eat anything) would likely have issues with it. Here's the bad part: Upon checking out, I got my phone bill. I made a few calls that all totalled under an hour, and the charge was SIXTY DOLLARS! You heard that right, it's a dollar a minute. However, that was the least of the pain. About a month after I returned from my trip, I was notified that my credit card number had been stolen and was being used around Fort Worth. After warning others that were in my party, they started watching their statements. One of them only used his company card at the Wingate, and it also ended up stolen and was also being used around the DFW area.

There for the playoffs!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/15/08
Really nice room, clean and roomy. Really needed shuttle service from DFW for late arrival but "it's not available after 8:00p.m"....Dissapointing....Next a.m. looking forward to the breakfast and was told "it cuts OFF at 9:30" It was 9:45. Had to walk a little over a mile to the nearest breakfast spot. (Good weather that day so not a really big deal, but not very convenient) GAMETIME! Needed shuttle to ballfield...."not available" Called a taxi! Did have a really nice dinner at the Benehana restaurant located next door that evening. Early flight out next a.m. "no shuttle available" Overall, good place if you have your own transportation. Do not depend on the shuttle to get you where you need to be when you need to be there!

If your working in the area this hotel is a nice place to stay. Food is close by, free is breakfest, free snacks in the evening along with a cold beer or glass of wine.

Shuttle scheduling needs help
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/04
I stayed here for four nights on business. The hotel was fair for the price. The free breakfast and happy hour were great. However the complimentary shuttle scheduling was a horror. I asked to be dropped off and picked up at a conference site only one and a half miles away for three days. The first two days, the drop off in the morning was great. Grant, the driver was excellent. He was not the driver to pick me up though, the hotel had a different driver in the afternoon. Pick up was a nightmare. The first day the front desk sent the shuttle to the wrong location. I had to wait 45 minutes until a taxi came to pick me up. The second day pick up I had to wait 20 minutes. So the third day I just drove myself and paid the parking fee. On the fourth day, on which I did not request the shuttle, the front desk woke me up at 7:30 a.m. to tell me the shuttle was ready for me. I don't blame the drivers, the front desk staff needs help. Stay here if you must, but don't count on the shuttle scheduling from the front desk.
