Microtel Inn and Suites Lawrenceville, Lawrenceville

We were trying to find a place in between Athens and Atlanta for a football weekend. Microtel provided an interesting room setup with plenty of space and amenities in the room. Although there was a small stain in one cushion on the window seat, it didn't deter us from liking the room. No pool, no problem either-- we weren't there to get into that kind of a hotel stay. The continental breakfast was good also with plenty of selections. The aroma of waffles met you as you got onto the elevator to go downstairs. The staff was more than helpful and friendly also-- always had a smile. I had looked into the hotel two weeks prior to actually staying there and had some reservations due to it's location away from the mainstream. Plus there were a lot of cable installers booked into the place when I visited and we found them still there two weeks later when we came to stay. However, they weren't to be seen while we were there and turned out to be a good bunch and no problem. I'm staying in the Atlanta area again soon and will look to use Microtel again.
