The main thing that sets this hotel apart from any other place I have stayed is Chris who is behind the reservation counter. He was always cordial and ready to help whether it be directions to anywhere in town or just around the corner. So if you are looking for a great place to stay that is close to I-17 right off of Bell Road definitely take a look here. I think my room was the "basic" and was approximately $60-$70 ish a night when across the i-state the Fairfield & Best Western were $140 & $100 per night respectively. There are also several restaraunts and shops within walking distance of the Red Roof Inn.

We've Renamed It The Crack Hotel....

We stayed there Christmas night 2006. I was a little taken back by the security guard in the parking lot, but felt safer. Then we parked around back and witnessed suspicious activity. I'd call them drug deals, my husband was looking on the bright side...maybe the 10p.m. bike riders needed the exercise. The parking lot was very dark and the perfect place for illegal dealings. The rooms were clean, I'll give them that, but I couldn't get passed the razor and burn marks on the bathroom vanity. Scary. The staff was very apologetic and told me they were trying to get rid of the drug dealing in the parking lot, but with our family of 6 we changed hotels. We will NEVER stay here again.

Great Place to stay

I like this place because of the clean rooms and the TRUCK parking and Trucker Discounts. Pets are welcome... The bad things are No Laundrey room, No Free Internet ( it is $9.99 for a continous 24hrs) and you have to go through the front doors because the other doors are only accesable with your room key and they seldom work. Going back again!

I have been to phoenix several times and have stayed and many different places and for the "value and service" cant be beat. I will stay nowhere else anymore. The staff was kind and very helpful and check in was fast, the rooms were clean. Looking for a clean and safe place to stay this is it.
