Boots and Saddles Keeps Getting Better
We visited Boots and Saddles for the first time in 2004 and came back again this last week. Words can not describe our delight. The place underwent a major renovation and re-building and all we can say is WOW! The numerous flowers that bloom in every corner of the property, the relaxing water fountains, and the Western details are so wonderful.
This time we came with a friend so we reserved the Sedona Suite that has two bedrooms (and two of anything else you can think of…). It is so beautifully decorated, specious, and luxurious. The living room’s rich leather furniture, the unique faux paint on the walls, and the wonderful original western and Native American artifacts are such an outstanding experience. The beds are so large and the mattress so comfortable that we did not want to leave the room. However, in this place you don’t stay in the room because you just don’t want to miss breakfast. Everyday, Sam’s creations were delicious, beautifully presented and filling that we skipped lunch. They also make you want to hike, hike, hike (don’t miss the West Fork hike – it is spectacular).
Thank you Irith and Sam. Southern California is not so far and we will not wait three years for our next visit.
