Hampton Inn Mt Airy, Mt Airy

Wonderful acommodations and great value! The service is friendly and efficient. Furnishings are attractive and comfortable. By far the nicest place to stay in Mount Airy, and the nicest Hampton Inn I have ever visited!

According to the staff, at this time this is the only Hampton Inn with the privilege of selling wine at it's own wine bar. The hotel is owned by the Shelton Brothers who have a winery two miles away. The decore of the hotel is all focused on the Winery theme and it is done very, very well. The hallway carpeting is customized with the logo from the winery. The room we stayed in was approximately 2 times the size of your normal Hampton Inn. The service staff at both 1:00 am and at 10:00 am were both first class. Everything was clean very clean and the pool area and breakfast space was well maintained. This is not your standard or even your above average Hampton Inn, this is truly a gem! The hotel is situated in the middle of no where but is well worth a visit. We regret we could not visit the Winery but we saw enough pictures and read enough about it to appreciate the work these two guys have put in to make a work class experience.
