Enjoyed staying here
By Jean J, 09/01/08
We stayed recently at this Holiday Inn while visiting Florida. We stayed for 4 nights. The room was nice and neat, the beds comfortable. The staff here was extremely helpful and friendly. They had a breakfast that was good and fresh. I was glad to see also a computer in the lobby that could be used by the guests. If I ever come back to this area, I will definitely stay here! I have told others about it too!

A Stay Beyond Compare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/26/07
Throughout my travels I have stayed at numerous hotels. I would have to say none other compared to the treatment the comfort and the affordability than that at Holiday Inn Express Chiefland. First many would ask what is in Chiefland well I would have to say its a place thats inbetween everything and after a long drive this hotel is in the perfect location to recharge and site see in areas nearby. What set my stay apart from other hotels was the courtesy of the front desk staff they were attentive to my needs and friend smile to that of the housekeeping and the staff in general always wore a smile upon their face and were eager to please. When I stepped into the room it was a picture out of a magazine this property while I was staying there was under renovation and I had the honor of having one of the rooms that was complete in its renovation and I would have to say it was beautiful. The bed was comfortable I honestly did not want to leave. All of us can agree especially after a long travel a comfortable bed makes the difference and let me tell you I was amazed. The granite countertop was beautiful only complimenting the elegance. The next morning upon my checkout there on the countertop was the complimentary newspaper and the lobby smelled of the aroma of the finest coffee I was "in heaven" over the smell of the fresh brewed coffee was the sweet aroma of fresh cinnamon rolls, when I looked at the continental breakfast bar it had granola bar, variety of cereal choices fresh fruit hot cereal one thing you wont do is walk away hungry. Upon speaking with the Management about the hotel I was told of the expansion of this already satisfying continental breakfast, how they are planning on offering more hot food, I will definately have to make another trip this way. It was over and beyond the price this hotel is one of those gems that is often overlooked but definatly will remain in my mind for time to come as the best stay I have ever had.
