Nice, but understaffed

We were 5 families who stayed at Days Inn and Suites at 3925 S. Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi this Memorial Day weekend. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, and they offered a nice full hot complimentary breakfast BUT... there was only one person (his name is Perris) who was MAKING the breakfast, SERVING the breakfast buffet area/restocking and trying to clean up AND WORKING the FRONT desk ALL at the same time. At 8:30 AM, when a huge rush of people came to eat breakfast, most of the food items were empty. So Perris was trying to split his time between the front desk where people were trying to check out , to cook more breakfast and restock the buffet area to accommodate the guests. Although this young man did a more than EXCELLENT job, under the circumstances, the MANAGER or OWNER really needs to hire more personnel to accomplish all these tasks during breakfast time/morning check out, especially during the holidays. This is unacceptable to accommodate that many guests and if you want people to come back to your hotel.
I was very impressed on how polite and efficient Perris was to everyone during the entire time.
