great for full relaxing and great golfing course
We drove out after years of not leaving Penang, whenever we were back due to short stay term. At the recommendation of my brother, golf package offer was wonderfully attractive to entice us out of Penang for 2 nights.... email correspondence/advice-confirmation can be vague and slow to obtain, though. The Noodle House (chinese) restaurant is not good, better try a la carte at the Garden Terrace (main pool side restaurant) or Gayam. Too bad, Gayam was closed for maintenance when we were there but my brother says meal was a lot better there.
Garden Terrace restaurant has a pizza making furnace which will fill the close-up restaurant area with smoke. The smoke was soring everyone's eyes when we were there one evening......... emm.......... the management should think of a solution for it to avoid irritating their guests.
Although I did not try, apparently the beach is full of shell-fishes ! Golf course is great although green maintenance period is probably better avoided. We got a great caddy (Ms Lia), spoke good English and has certainly increased our golfing fun, especially when I am still in recovery stage (1+ month now after surgery). Overall, nice for a breakaway and I look forward to enjoying more marine sports also, next time. I tried foot reflexology, it was my first experience to have a blind-pro. Not bad, although the first lady attendance left us without turning on the air-con, poor him having to browse through for it. Hopefully, they have a beach-side area set up in the future....... this should greatly increase the comfortability and soothing massaging feel.
