La Quinta Inn & Suites El Paso East, El Paso

I was very disappointed. I went to the desk to conplain about bed bugs and he just ignored me.

Stopped for overnight rest to and from Texas-Arizona. I thought this hotel was great for our purpose. A goodplace to take a break overnight. I usually like to stay in a "nicer" hotel, but didn't want to spend a lot just for a place to sleep with my kids. We were pleasantly surprised. Easy, friendly check-in. Good location. Easy to find. Walking distance (same parking lot to Fudruckers, Applebees and a Mexican restaurant. Stores all around. Found a flyer in the lobby for Goodfellow's pizza. They delivered to our room. Pizza was excellent. 3 large 2 topping pizzas for $19.00. Highly recommend it. The first night the video game didn't work when we ordered it on the TV. Melissa tried hard to get a technician to fix it and offered it for free if it worked. It didn't but the gesture was nice. Movies are 10.99, a little steep. Cheaper than us all going to a movie theatre. The rooms both nights were very clean. Bedspread and blanket a little dated, but we bring my own pillows and blankets to 2-3 star hotels. Sheets were clean. The whole hotel is clean. Pool a little strong on the chlorine, but I figured all the pee germs were covered! The free breakfast is pretty much continental. Coffee, tea, juices. Fruit cocktail. Apples and banana. Cold hard boiled eggs. Cereal. bagels, toast, danish. Yogurt. Did the job for us to get back on the road. I think this is a great hotel for it's class. You won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed the stay at this hotel. It's comfortable and the breakfast is filling and fresh. The staff is friendly and nice.The rooms are super clean and do not have a musty smoke smell. The beds are comfortable too. I enjoy being close to the nearest mall and several resturants so the location is great.
