1 reviews for Butlers Town House Hotel, Dublin
Perfect for a romantic break
By Princesscoffey, 11/18/07
We booked this hotel as a replacement for our original honeymoon plans and it was perfect. We arrived early on the morning flight from London and were greeted with tea and toast and assurances that our room would be ready as soon as possible (we arrived at 9 so well before the normal check in time!). We were shown to our room at 11.30 and were greeted by a beautiful 4 poster bed and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon! The irish breakfasts were excellent and there was also a good choice of other hot and cold items to choose from. My husband loved the eggs benedict and would recommend it! It's a bit of a walk to the main part of the town (about 25 minutes at a normal pace) but that meant that we were never disturbed by the noise of partygoers or traffic and the hotel was much better value than those in the centre. All in all the hotel could not be faulted!
