Holiday Inn Express Birch Run, Birch Run

We have stayed here at least 6 times of the past 2 yrs and always enjoyed our stay.. Staff are friendly and place is clean..

The Front desk clerk was not very friendly- we were put in a handicap accessible room when we requested not to be in one. Again the front desk clerk seemed put out when we requested the room we reserved. The room was clean, but definite wear and tear on the walls. Breakfast was not good. I have stayed in holiday inn express before and was pleased, not this one. Would not go back.

The Hotel rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was better than expected and the area was large enough to accomodate all those taking advantage of the breakfast. The Hotel staff was courteous and friendly. Pool area was clean and water was at a comfortable temperature. Would stay here again!!

We are from a neighboring town and booked this hotel just for the pool. It was gross - both the pool and our stay. We couldn't see the bottom of the pool because the water wasn't clear. The salty rust is eating away the doors and windows, and the metal poolside chairs. Besides that, they have the heat in the hotel turned up to barbeque. Why so hot? The manager wouldn't let us check out and get a refund because we had booked online. Whatever. We stayed anyway (because we'd lose the money if we left). The beds were hard and the A/C didn't cool the room very well. It was probably old and overworked. The whole family was awake all night. Not good with young kids! We wouldn't return to this hotel if it were free.

Very friendly night manager! Very comfortable bed with enough blankets (that never happens) Clean room, awesome breakfast. Seconds from the outlet mall and right off the highway. I had a great experience with this hotel and would stay again for sure.

I was very pleased with our room. We visited other rooms in the area and none of them stood up to the cleanliness of ours. This means the most to us in order to be able to sleep peacefully. The breakfast that was offered with our room was perfect. A nook packed with quick breakfast foods. What a variety! Hot Cinnamon Rolls, Bagels, Cream Cheese, Butter, Jams, Jellies,Syrup, Toast, French Toast, Donuts, several cereals, Several kinds of mini muffins, hard boiled eggs, yopliat yogert, oranje juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, milk, hot chocolate, coffee, tea...I am sure I have left somethings out but everything you need to fill you up and get you on your way to a delightful day in Frankenmuth (10 Minutes away)or the Prime Outlets that are only a block away. The thing that would keep us from coming back for awhile is the very steep price. We paid $148.00 total for a room (Two queen size beds, non smoking).

everything was great...except our bill is $20 cheaper than what was charged to our credit card... I'm still looking into that.
