Magnolia Bay Hotel & Suites Gulfport, Gulfport

My family and I live in Gulfport.Ms.and we had reserved a room for the nights of July 10th and 11th.This is when Hurricane Dennis hit,the only reason I reserved these rooms was so my family can be safe because we do live in a double wide mobile home.I called and made the reservations and I understand that the room was non refundable.This is so RIDICULOUS and the reason I am saying that is we got to your hotel at noon when the curfew started and when we got there they said it would be about an hour before they could get our room clean so we figured we are there with two children under the age of 2 and an elderly lady so we would wait an hour...well about an hour and a half later they told us that our room would not be ready until three o'clock.I can't believe that they knew they would be booked for this storm why not bring in enough help to get these rooms cleaned so people can get a room earlier then the check in time.....Can't you make exceptions??? They should have told us it would be until 3 when they could get us in,so we waited all that time until we decided to go back home and risk our lives because we could not get a room early.This is very dissapointing to me because my company always uses your banquet room for store meetings...etc...I will surely Not recommend anyone to stay there again.
