Nice hotel but rude staff
By StacieH, 09/21/08
There was some mix-up about hilton points and Edgar the manager on duty was not very nice. When I told him I called the night before and spoke to a woman about it, he basically said I was lying because he said there were no women on the desk at the time I called. I had no reason to make it up b/c they weren't my hilton points. Anyway, he treated me like I was annoying him and was irritated he had to straighten it out. Otherwise it is a nice hotel near lots of tourist spots.

Nice Hotel, But Poor Space Planning
By LouisaM, 07/16/08
This hotel is a standard Hampton Inn - nothing fancy, but reliable and clean. The rooms are pretty much standard for a Hampton so you'll know what to expect. The hotel's common space was woefully inadequate for the huge amount of guests. The free breakfast buffet was so cramped and crowded that most people were eating standing up in the hallways, at the front desk or even outside the front entrance of the hotel! Waits for the two elevators took forever. This hotel is just too big for the capacity of guests it can hold. It was an absolute crowded nightmare at every turn! The location is good and is within walking distance of a large 24 hours grocery store and a McDonald's. The Space Needle and EMP museum are also a few blocks away. The neighborhood isn't the best, so if you are from the country of suburbs or aren't used to urban city life, the area may intimidate you. This is a very urban hotel.

Would stay there again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/06
The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. I thought I was getting two queen beds but was told that they only had the queen beds in their suites. This was ok, no big deal. The free continental breakfast was very good. They had egg patties and biscuits and gravy along with fruit and cereal and coffee and assorted juices. This was right by the space needle. The girl at the desk told us we could walk to Pikes Market because she said it takes her 20 minutes. Take my advice. Take a bus or taxi. Too far to walk. Overall, we had a very nice time.

Nice Stay - Good location
By Rob H, 09/19/05
Nice place to stay and convenient to Seattle Center-Space Needle. Secure parking on site. This is a nice place to stay. We like the easy access to the monorail which means a quick and cheap way in and out of downtown. Also, you are right by the Space Needle and all the attractions there. Recommended for business travel and family trips.

Home away from home
By Matt McGee, 08/30/05
Whenever the family goes to Seattle and needs a hotel, we stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff is always helpful and friendly -- even going so far as to call local Italian restaurants for us to get driving directions. The rooms are clean and spacious, well-kept. The location is very good, within walking distance of the Space Needle and Key Arena. And the breakfast in the morning is terrific. Five stars from us......

Sightseeing before a cruise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/05
We planned a cruise leaving and returning to Seattle. We wanted to spend several days touring the Seattle area. This hotel provided all the comfort we wanted and a great location to our destinations. It's a first class hotel in my opinion. I would definitely return on my next visit to the area.

Nice Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/05
The room was spacious, nice size bathroom. It was pretty quiet at night. Parking was limited but found a spot every night. Hotel staff was friendly and helpfull. They had a very nice breakfast. Excellent location to the Seattle center and downtown Seattle. It took us one hour to walk to Safeco field from the hotel.

I loved it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/05
I cant find a single bad thing to say about this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. The free breakfast was a lot more then I expected. The location is great. Just 2 blocks to the space needle and monorail station. You can easily walk to most places from here. You get a lot for your money.
