Probably won't come back...
We just got home from our first trip to Vegas. We stayed at NY/NY for 6 nights. We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest deal we found on the strip, and we had read several good reviews about it.
While our room was clean, it was a bit dated. We had a view of the strip, but were very close to the roller coaster, even on the 12th floor. We could hear the rumble of the coaster at all hours of the night, even during the week. We had to run the shower for at least 5 minutes every evening to get hot water. Worst part, no buffet with nothing but a bunch of overpriced restaurants. We ate several lunches and dinners at other properties.
But, the hotel is in a decent location on the strip with walkways connecting with the MGM and Excaliber. The Deuce bus drops off/picks up a short walk away on either side of the street.
The noise of the coaster and lack of buffet are enough for us to look for another hotel on future visits.
