I expected more from the Marriott

When we first walked into the hotel, it looked pretty good inside. Our room was pretty nice too, but later in the night I noticed there was a big orange stain on the duvet cover on my bed, and that grossed me out because I'm pretty sure I was touching my face to it. The hotel didn't have any other vending machines besides pop, and it cost $2.00 for a can. My friend and I were starving, and couldn't afford the very expensive room service. They had a little store with nothing but cookies and chips it looked like, and it closes at 11pm, so we were too late to get some food. The only closest food was a Denny's, but you had to walk down a scary busy road off the freeway and through garbage to get to it.
The hot tub was also not hot enough and some of the jets were broken, and the pool had a dead gecko in it, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.
Houston was just a dumpy place, and the hotel wasn't that great. Oh yeah, and the front desk people weren't helpful at all.
