I liked the first greeting from the wildlife with the beautiful flowers, birds and impalas innocently walking around, the staff are neat and freindly. It located is 5 minutes from the airport, its like alighting from the aircraft straight into the hotel but, ideally situated in the opposite of the takeoff and landing zones to maintain tranquil and restful place. The food is great, especially the Zambian and Indian cuisine with a well stocked bar. Presidential Pavilion serves all visitors as its name. I didn't like the entertainment or private wedding function in a marquee one Saturday evening but, if your Friday or weekend nite gets spoilt like mine, you are only 5 minutes away from the illuminated and safe central business district (town center) and the 2nd largest hospital in the country. If you want to go merry go round, there are about 5 standard niteclubs, several pubs and about 3 very good restaurants, alternatively if you are daring, you are just a stone throw away from a popular Zambian niteclub, Elisams where you can dance to top Zambian and Congolese tunes with mesmerizing dancing queens. I will surely ring the doorbell next time I am in Ndola.
