BEST WESTERN West Memphis Inn, West Memphis

I have been here before years ago and they have remodeled and it looks great. I checked in about 11pm at night. The night desk clerk was very up beat and smiled the entire time she talked to us. In the morning the breakfast was great. I was well prepared and I went to the desk to ask a question and it was the same lady from the night before i think her name was kym. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The lobby area is wonderful and the large pool we nice also. Im giving all future travelers a hint "Best Western West Memphis is the place to be" Hopefully the same lady will be there and you can experience her cheerfullness. The house keepers were very nice and pleasant as well.. (CLEAN)

I loved the fact that the clerk on evenings was very talkative and smiled alot. She answered all my questions and helped with directions. All hotels she expect this of their staff. Upon check out she was there also, She made sure she asked us was our stay ok and said she would love for us to come again. I will definitely be back. Her name was kim it would be hard to forget.

The woman on night staff was incredibly rude both on the phone and in person. She was belligerent and seemed to not want us to stay. She hung up on me when I tried to call the hotel. I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns for business and this was the worst. We didn't even stay the night because of her attitude.

We were a late arrival (about 10:45) and we had to check in through a sliding glass window. The lady checking us in said the lobby was closed, so we stood in the parking lot with out suitcases handling the checkin. A little scary and uncomfortable, considering the neighborhood we were in was not the best. Room was basic - bed, dresser, table and chairs and that is about it. But, we just wanted a room to sleep in quickly on our way to St. Louis. For $60 not a bad deal for what we wanted. Breakfast was pitiful. We ended up at McDonald's.
