Hampton Inn Columbia, Columbia

I had to come home to Missouri when my father was a patient at the VA hospital. Even though I was told there was "no room in the Inn" for the full time I needed to be there, a nice man by the name of Joe made room for me. On a Mizzou home game weekend! The entire staff was so friendly and the hotel was beautifully clean and maintained. OH and they serve HOT breakfast :} Thank you! I would stay here again and will highly recommend anyone also to do so.

I am a VERY picky hotel guest. The only room that smells acceptable to me, is a room that you CANNOT smell a thing. There is the absence of smell in these rooms, which is perfect. These rooms are furnished beautifully, up-to-date, tile bathroom floors, even the desk chair was perfect. The heater/air conditioning unit is actually a digital one, so you don't have to manually turn it on and off all day and night. Just set it, and you're comfy! The bathroom 'vanity' is modern and really nice-looking. The towels were SO THICK AND SOFT...a rarity these days. The staff was beyond nice and helpful, the place was SPOTLESS. Pool/spa were clean and very nice. Continental breakfast had more choices by FAR than any I have ever been to thus far. They even have to-go breakfast bags if you're in a hurry!! I've never been to a hotel and been this pleased before, so I could go on forever! Even the number plate by your door has a cute black-and-white photo by it, so it's easy to remember if it's really your room. We got a great deal on the hotel's website, and we should have paid at least double for the service we recieved. Will stay there again every time!!!

being a customer service rep.i can tell you that this hotel meets if not exceeds all expiations.accommodations were great and service from hotel personnel was outstanding.will be staying here on my next trip to columbia.

We were extremely impressed...the customer service was amazing and the decor was modern and beautiful. We had a great breakfast, too. Our family had a great time!

This property meets all the standards we have grown to expect at a Hampton Inn. Room was immaculately clean. The chain�s newly upgraded beds were heavenly! Breakfast was the usual outstanding fare. The Staff were extremely pleasant. The only negative: We had a very rough nights sleep due to a noisy refrigerator motor in our room. We finally had to unplug the refrigerator around three in the morning. Upon checkout the next morning the desk clerk asked how our stay was. I mentioned that we had a rough night because of the noisy refrigerator. To our surprise she credited the entire room charge! Hampton Inn really means 100% satisfaction guaranteed! We have previously had similar problems or worse while staying at another choice national chain and made a point to mention them upon checkout. The usual response is �I�ll let somebody know� and that would be the end of it even though they supposedly also had a satisfaction guarantee. From now on out there is no "choice" on where to stay. Hampton Inn has made loyal customers out of us!

My husband and two toddler daughters are driving cross country back home right now. I researched places to stay all along the route. If any of you have travelled with toddlers you know that it can take 4hrs to go 150miles some days.. Last night, he got as far as Columbia, MO. The Hampton is about $20 more expensive vs the other hotels in the area but it was worth every penny. The place has been recently renovated from top to bottom. It was extremely clean- totally spotless. Tile floor in the bathroom...new sinks, toliets and tubs...sparkling clean. New, clean, nice carpet and furniture. Cleanliness is our top priority when travelling with little ones...you want to be comfortable if they decide to wrestle on the carpet in the hotel room. The girls enjoyed splashing about in the pool- the heated towel bar in the bathroom was perfect for drying their swimsuits overnight. There was also a good selection of cartoon channels on the cable TV. There were good restaurants nearby for dinner. This morning, the first thing he reported to me is that the beds were really really comfortable...with gorgeous comfortors..not the usual hotel type bedspreads you're afraid to even touch The bed was so comfy that the feet of the youngest one doing a dance on his back felt like a massage so he had 7.5hrs of really good sleep. My hubby hit the road at 4am this morning b/c that means he can get 3hrs in before the girls wake up. The staff had just finished brewing the coffee for the 6am breakfast start and they also went in back and got him some cereal and juice even though it was waaaay before the official start of the free breakfast. We will definitely be stopping here when driving cross country.
