Sunrise Resort, St Pete Beach

Very nice but not worth the price. There was no internet connection in our unit (and adjoining units) and although we reported this problem twice it was never corrected. What was even more frustrating there was no explanation and not even an apology provided. Several small items were not provided in the unit (which we had to purchase). Paying this price I expected a little better service.

OMG we found a gem when we booked this condo for our one week stay! Absolutely awesome view of bay and sunrise from back balcony and beach view from front. Our two bedroom, 2 bath unit was clean and comfy. Pool, grill area, dock and tennis just perfect. Very family friendly; most of the people we met have been coming to the Sunrise year after year and I now know why. Trolly stop right in front and beach right across the street. After I saw the other places I was considering (including the expensive resorts) we definately found the best place. I agree with another reviewer, can't wait to go back!

I loved how close it is to the beach. No need to pay beach front prices when you can walk a few yards to the beach from Sunrise Resort. The staff was not too friendly but other than that the place was spectacular. Loved it!!!

Unit was crummy and management had a "what do you expect ? attitude." What a disapointment. Tacky, tacky tacky.

We've vacationed here 9 times, and plan on continuing. Our family has never had any problems with these facilities. Anything questionable has always been taken care of immediately by pleasant staff. Some people own and live in their units. We have become friends with, and look forward to seeing them again each year. The place is always very clean inside and out. We have never had a bug problem of any kind. There isn't a bad view from any of the balconies. In our opinion, the view of the bay is better than that of the beach. On windy days, it is much more pleasant to sit around the pool by the bay than lay out on the beach, anyway. There are enough restaurants within walking distance so you really don't need to drive much at all. The only issue we have ever run into was a very large extended family who stayed here. They occupied 6 or more units and sprawled out all over the pool area, leaving towels, clothes, and strollers everywhere. They were loud and obnoxious, and didn't watch their children too closely. Management stepped in and asked them to quiet down and take other people into consideration. Sunrise Resort is definitely a class act all the way. It's worth our 1200 mile trip from home.

Fantastic location, Great rates, rooms are just fab, much better than the usual hotel room, they have everything you need for a great vacation. Very clean, no problem with bugs of any kind and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will be back again next year and the next and the next. If you are going to ST PETE BEACH then you have to stay here. This place is 5***** Luxury. Thanks for a wonderful time.

This resort surpassed my expectations! Located on Gulf Boulevard provided for easy beach access. Pool and BBQ area was extremely nice and well kept. Condos we're extremely roomy and nice; very clean! For the price, location, and service- Sunrise Resort is hard to beat!

WOW what a great vacation we had at Sunrise. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the pleasant helpful staff and ease of checking into our unit. I have never stayed in a condo before, only hotels and now I’m hooked. The view, the pool, the tennis courts, and the occasional visiting family of manatees, I don’t think you can beat it. We would walk the beach every day and found live music on the beach at the resorts for our daily sunset viewing cocktail hour. I was afraid when we did not rent a car, but it could not have worked out any better, everything is with in a SHORT walking distance. If you are thing about St Pete beach I would highly recommend it.

We had a serious health issue problem here on our second visit within a year, bed bugs! We didn't feel management did all they could to resolve the problem within the building, nor did they offer us a satisfactory refund for our pain and suffering.

great location, very clean, friendly staff, great place to relax and watch all types of marine life swim by. clean pool and spa, great wharf, tennis court, covered parking. simply wonderful.
