Days Inn Okmulgee, Okmulgee

This motel is a very comfortable, moderate priced motel. You get excellent value for your dollar. It is conviently located to everything in Okmulgee. The beds were very comfortable & clean. The breakfast was continental, but with the hot waffles, which I like very much. The front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgable of the area and state roads. She helped my map my trip across Oklahoma. Thanks to all the staff at the Days Inn. I will return. Thank you

I was here for 4 days, The 1st day I go to set the alarm clock & when I moved it there was a dead roach and droppings under it.I didn't place the alarm clock back in its spot, hopeing that when they cleaned they would get it, the bathroom door had for a good time phone numbers wrote on it . 2nd day it was still there, plus I turned the air on & out came 2 live roaches and the bed sheets didn't look like they had been changed. I placed a rubber band under the blanket before I left there and day 3 band was still where I placed it.. Day 4 was the same thing. I had been told by people I was here to help that others had complained and were told to leave. Since I couldn't make a round trip of 200 miles everyday, I stayed. The only good thing about my stay here is it was so nasty I couldn't eat and dropped 9 pounds. LOL So if you want to lose weight and don't mind the filth, then you may choose this place.

I made reservations for 1 room with two beds for 2 nights. When i went to check in they told me that I had no room. A school bus had come in and she said my room was given out but that they could put us in two rooms til the next day. The reason I needed one room was because my sister was coming in and we haven't seen her sense our mother died in 2005, and we wanted to spend time together not in two rooms, but one. we got our room the next day. It is not the very clean, and nothing in the rooms work, but the tv. So the way I see it everyone needs to go to the Best Western north of town.

I WAS SO DISAPOINTED, I THOUGHT DAYS INN WAS A BETTER HOTEL CHAIN THAN THIS. WHEN WE CHECKED IN AND WENT INTO THE ROOM IS WAS DIRTY. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND ASK COULD THEY SEND THE HOUSEKEEPER DOWN THE OWNER TOLD ME THAT THE ROOM HAD ALREADY BEEN CLEAN THAT DAY AND THE HOUSE KEEPER WAS GONE FOR THE DAY AND IF I DID NOT LIKE IT TO COME GET MY MONEY AND LEAVE. I TOLD HER THAT IT WAS OKAY THAT THE HOUSEKEEPER COULD JUST COME TOMMORROW AND CLEAN IT. I HAD SOME LYSOL SO I DID SOME CLEANNING JUST SO WE COULD BRUSH OUR TEETH IN THE SINK AND IT WOULD NOT BE SO GROSS. THE NEXT DAY THE HOUSEKEEPER CAME AND I SHOWED HER HOW DIRTY IT WAS SHE SAID SHE WAS PREGNANT AND COULD NOT BEND OVER AND SCRUB ANYTHING. I TOLD HER THAT WAS FINE I WOULD DO SO MORE CLEAN SOME MORE. AFTER SHE LEFT THE OWNER CALLED TO SEE IF SHE CAME AND CLEAN GOOD, I TOLD HER SHE SAID SHE HAD CLEANED AS BEST AS SHE COULD BECAUSE SHE WAS PREGANANT THE OWNER SAID NO SHE HAS TO CLEAN THE ROOM I AM SENDING HER BACK DOWN I TOLD HER IT WAS OKAY BUT SHE SAID NOT SHE HAD TO COME. THE HOUSEKEEPER CAME TO MY DOOR VERY MAD SAYING I HAD CALLED AND COMPLAINED ABOUT HER I TRIED TO EXPLAIN NO THAT THE OWNER HAD CALLED ME AND I TOLD HER YOU SAID YOU DID ALL YOU COULD. SHE SLAMMED THE DOOR AND LEFT SAYING SHE WAS GOING TO SPEAK TO THE OWNER, I WAITED ABOUT AN HOUR AND NO ONE EVER CAME SO I CALLED THE FRONT DESK TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE WAS COMING BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO TAKE A NAP THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK SAID NO SHE WAS NOT SENDING ANYONE BACK AGAIN AND WANTED TO KNOW DID I KEEP A CLEAN HOUSE I TOLD HER YES I DID SHE SAID I WAS TO PICKY I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT I WAS NOT COMPLAINING I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THEY WERE COMING BACK. THE OWNER TOOK THE PHONE FROM HER AND TOLD ME I NEEDED TO GET OUT OF HER MOTEL I TRIED TO ASK WHY WHAT HAD I DONE AND SHE SCREAMMED AT ME TO SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO HER TO GET OUT THAT SHE HAD BOOKED MY ROOM WHICH I HAD RESERVED FOR MONDAY TUES AND WED. AND HAD ALREADY PAID FOR ALL THREE DAYS. SHE HUNG UP ON ME AND I CALLED BACK AND ASKED THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WHY I HAD TO LEAVE AND SHE SAID SHE THE OWNER OWNED THE MOTEL AND COULD TELL WHO SHE WANTED TO STAY OR GO BY THIS TIME I HAD STARTED CRYING BECAUSE I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS BEING TREATED LIKE THIS. THE OWNER FINALLY SAID YOU CAN STAY IF YOU DO NOT CALL AND COMPLAIN ANYMORE. AFTER THAT I TOOK PICTURES OF THE ROOM TO SHOW HOW BAD IT WAS. I WILL BE SENDING THE PICTURES TO THE DAYS INN CORP. AND LET THEM SEE WHAT KIND OF MOTEL HAD THEIR NAME ON IT... BAD BAD PLEASE BEWARE

We came down to see our family in okmulgee and we stayed at the days inn. The motel looks brand new...they told us they have just renovated..our room was very clean and we ask if we could stay 30 min longer because we had alot of stuff to take out of the room and they didnt even charge for the extra time. We called the best western before coming to the days inn but thier rates were outragous 67+tax for single and they are away from all the food places. There is a restaurant at the bestwestern but is not even open..which i heard from my family that there was shooting there. so i decided to take my family to the days inn instead.Our stay at days inn was very nice..great showers..great beds and alot of amenties,including high speed internet for my little ones. I will always stay at the days inn, when i come to visit my family

Dislike: 1) Rooms poorly kept - In need of repair. The repairs that were made were done poorly. 2) Bedspread torn 3) Blankets had cigarette burns 4) Raised the price to $75 plus tax per night Not worth it. 5) Manager very rude. 6) Manager knocked on doors to see who was checking out. 7) Wall shook on room when the entrance door was shut. Bad experience. Rooms were reserved for a ball team. Rain caused teams to drop out of the tournament. No Refund Policy was put in after checkin. Note on the Office door on second day: No refunds today. If at all possible go to the only other hotel or drive 10 miles to the next town.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and WORKED GREAT!! The best part was that we had our pickups loaded (moving in a student the next morning) and we were able to park them right outside our room door so we could keep a good eye and ear on the belongings. The price VERY reasonable for all the extras (refrig/ microwave,etc).

The room i got none of the 3 lamps worked,no alarm clock there was a big hole in the bathroom door,the sink only worked one way,the timer to the bathroom had no knob on it.This is very upsetting that they are able to run under Days Inn name it is an awful motel!!!!!
