Manoir St Germain, Paris

This was the perfect hotel in the perfect neighborhood. It was our first visit to Paris, and I was a little nervous about not knowing the neighborhoods. This hotel was THE perfect choice. Small enough to feel like a boutique, large enough to offer everything we needed. A great breakfast is included helped us get a good start on our sightseeing day. The staff is helpful, and the rooms are large. I slept very well on the beds. Oh, and Louis Vuitton has a store right across the street-dangerous!!

A absolutely precious hotel in a wonderful location. For a first time trip to France I would recommend this highly. Breakfast set-up was great (and healthy) Staff on hand - more than helpful and friendly. Rooms very quaint and beyond clean. (you even have a towel warmer!) Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed!

Great location near exclusive shopping, famed bistros , cafes, restaurants and just a short stroll to the Musee D'orsay, the Louvre, etc., etc. Lovely rooms, friendly staff. Great memories of Paris and our stay at Au Manoir !

We recently went to Paris to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I found this hotel on the Internet and am I glad we stayed here. The location is fantastic...right in the heart of the Left Bank. We never had to take a cab to the sights we wanted to see as they were within easy walking distance. We also found many great restaurants close by (Brasserie Lipp is right next door). The room was small, but very comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Ron Foster La Conner, WA.

This fantastic small hotel is located in the Latin Quarter. A very short walk to Notre Dame. I like the fact that there is a laundry mat down the street. We could pack light. Off course a bakery around the corner. ATM machine on the wall outside the hotel. The room was big enough for the comfortable bed with nice furniture and first class construction. Our room was on the street. We left the windows open at night as it was nice and quiet.

This is a great hotel in a great location. It is within easy walking distance of many sites including The Louvre, Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. St. Germain des Pres is a very nice local neighborhood where you can enjoy the city without feeling like you are surrounded by tourist traps. The rooms are small (the norm for Paris) but well laid out and very nicely decorated. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I've stayed at this hotel three times, and keep returning because of the convenient location. My rooms at this hotel have always been very quiet (usually facing an internal courtyard), and the morning breakfast is enough to get you going for the day. The staff are friendly but businesslike--still very helpful in making suggestions or arranging for an early morning taxi to the airport. At the end of the day, when I travel I look for luxurious rooms and i just looking for a good location that let's me sleep and shower, and this place has always delivered.

Great location on the left bank, just 4 blocks from the Seine river. Staff friendly and attentive to guests needs. Located on boulevard saint germain, within walking distance of good restaurants and nightlife. Rooms were clean and good size for European standards. Located near the saint germain des pres subway, where you can catch a train/subway anywhere in or around Paris. Good location to walk to most tourist destinations in Paris, ie: museums, Eiffel tower( a bit of a jaunt), Notre Dame, etc... Hotel was a pleasure for my first visit to Paris, I look forward to returning to the Hotel Au Manoir Saint germain des pres.

We stayed at this hotel from december 20 to 25. It was a fantastic experience. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was ready a few minutes after we got there at 10:30 a.m. We had room 201. It was at the front of the hotel on the busy St. Germaine De Pres. Was extremely quiet at night. To me it was a typical french hotel. Some might say the wall coverings, etc. are tacky but I call it quaint and French. The rooms were kept very clean as well as the bathrooms. The breakfast was adequate (included in price) of ham slices, cheese, hard boiled eggs, cereal, croissants, etc. There are two metro stops close by. Although, we ended up walking to many of the attractions. Even took a slow walk to the Champs Elysee to the Tour De France (about an hour.) We ended up taking a taxi from CDG to the hotel (and back) about 50 euros each way. Just much less stressful than lugging around our bags. Would stay here again.
