Resort Naples Castel Volturno, Castel Volturno

Really great hotel with fantastic service. My children need a gluten free diet and the hotel responded brilliantly to that challenge. Very relaxing atmosphere particularly early in the weekend, There are lots of weekenders making Friday to Monday quite busy. 2 spacious pools and lots of sun beds. 2 great tennis courts which we used every day. A main meal in the bar costs around Euro 10-12. The 3 course dinner Euro25 which is about what you would expect. There is no access to the beach and the surrounding area is really shabby but we were within a reasonable drive of Pompeii to see the ruins there and Vesuvius. RElaxing, good service, quite pricey. Lots of footballers in evidence as the training HQ for Napoli FC is on the same site.
