Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lake Okeechobee, Okeechobee

This State belongs to many of us who live here and even more who do not and some think Okeechobee is just fine and do not consider it any less nice then any other nice places. Different yes . . . . . More laid back Yes . . . . . and that is exactly what makes Okeechobee so special and different in a good way :O) As far as Hotels go The Hampton Inn cannot be beat in Okeechobee and if you reserve a room through hotels.com you get a great deal too. If you are looking for a Great Room at a Reasonable Price this is the place for sure. Nothing in Okeechobee comes close. If you want to save a few bucks and settle for peace and quiet , less quality and creature comforts like big comforatble beds , and comfy blankets and sheets , there are quite a few other places you can find as well. But if you want the Best Okeechobee has to offer it has to be The Hampton Inn for sure :O) It is a Great place to run to and hide for the week end for sure. I think the area is destined to become a vacation area one day dotted with Week End Cabins and A Frame Retreats not so much different then yiou might find in Pennsylvania or Vermont right here in Florida and less then an hour from Major Cities and Beaches too !! All the beauty of some of those areas without all the cold and snow. Okeechobee is going to continue to grow into more then just a farm area and an RV Park area. Her time has come and until it has arrived or at least for now The Hampton Inn there is Heaven on Earth for The Week End Folks :O) Treat yourself well You deserve it :O)

I always stay at Holiday Inn Express during my frequent business trips to Okeechobee, FL. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms and facilities are consistently clean and fresh smelling, in part due to a no pets/no smoking policy, but also due to good management. The beds are comfortable, with lush duvets, crisp sheets, and abundant pillows. The presentation of the continental breakfast is closely monitored for freshness and clean tables. There's amply parking and decent security. The rooms have Internet connections and there's also a business center with Internet access for travelers without laptops. I highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure stays.

I stay in this motel frequently for business and have no problems with it. Try to find a nicer one in Okeechobee. In case you haven't noticed, Okeechobee is not exactly high class. I have the perfect solution for those who have such a problem with this motel and Florida in general....Stay out of my state.

THE PEOPLE THERE WERE SO RUDE. THE ROOMS WERE VERY DIRTY AND THEY SMELLED. THIS IS A JUNK MOTEL AND THEY SHOULD BULLDOZER IT ALL DOWN. THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED
