Nice, but a little different than the pictures
By ,
I would definitely recommend a beachview room...I'm not sure of the price difference, but it would be worth it to splurge a little. Our room was facing inland and got hardly any sun, and we couldn't leave our window open because anyone walking in the hallway outside our room would be able to see inside (or worse...break in while we were out of the room). The food was excellent, I highly recommend the jerk chicken at the bar by the pool. The drinks are also great. Overall, a nice hotel but a little more run-down than the photos lead you to believe.

A great place to stay
By ,
We stayed at Breezes in Mid February, 2006. Being from Jamaica, this is the first time that I had ever stayed at a resort. I usually stay with family. I really enjoyed staying at Breezes. It is right on Doctor's Cave beach, which is my favorite beach and it is also on the "hip strip", so you get to walk out in town and see some of Jamaica outside the resort walls. The service was great and so was the food. I will definitely be returning soon. Great value for your money!!!

Been their many times
By ,
We have stayed at the motel many times as it was close for the reason on being there. I have been in touch with Super Clubs the owners of Breezes. i have never received any good answers considering their guarantees. I always have a oceanview I mentioned to the Super clubs that I paid alot of money for a room that had a picture view of the ocean and was not inpressed being by the disco withe the loud music. Never was offered anything for being unstatisfied. When we come we have 2 rooms and usually stay Jan and April you would think that they would try to do a return customer. Some of the employees where great but found out that they were fired so we will be staying somewhere else this year since our favorite employees where fired very rudely

Enjoyed every minute at Breezes
By ,
From the time we arrived the staff was awesome and very helpful. There was so many activities going on at the resort that we hated to leave because we were afraid we were going to miss something. Our room had a wonderful view of the pool and ocean. Make sure you do not miss the toga party and the pajama party. I really enjoyed it. Thanks Breezes staff for making my vacation experience a wonderful one. See ya next year.

Great place centrally located on the Hip Strip
By ,
My group and myself resided at Breezes-Montego Bay around July 7th,2005. We were very pleased with it's location as it was minutes away from the airport, within walking distance from stores, and Margaritaville. In addition, we really enjoyed the food as well as the lounge area around the pool. The service was great as they were very attentive to our needs. What we disliked about the hotel was that it did not offer goodies such as: massages, and so on. Otherwise, it wasn't a bad place to stay. I would recommend Breezes-Montego Bay over the Coral Cliff Casino or Doctor's Cave hotel. Oh and be prepared to do alot of tipping!

budget all the way
By ,
Returned from Sunspree this week. You get what you pay for--never enough towels in room, dirty floor, worn furniture. Food was average at best--real problem with flies. Entertainment average--pool area was shut down after 7pm or so...area was not lit after that time. Lots of kids--staff was friendly, drinks weak. Beach area adequate.

It's Irie man
By ,
Our room was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view from our oceanside balcony was fabulous - I would recommend a room on one of the higher floors, and away from the center of the hotel, as I did hear other guests complain about the noise in their rooms. The Jamaican people go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The only thing that is slightly overrated is the way the activities are advertised. They do provide all of the listed options, but all of them are extremely limited as to when you can participate - definitely not meant to be a free for all like I expected. We missed out on a lot of the activities because of the too rigid schedules. Also - the pool area is used too much for entertainment purposes with staged "games" put on by the staff. There was limited audience participation, but the pool was unable to be used at all during this time, so there was very little pool swim time. The food was absolutely spectacular! Many choices, and very well prepared. The only downside to the all inclusive "all you can drink" at the bar, is they do not have many choices as far as the beverages go. You can drink as much as you want - but the only beer provided is Red Stripe, and the other alcohol choices are limited. But, the bartenders are very friendly, so you can't complain about the service. Overall, I would have liked to see a little more freedom in the activities, especially the watersports, and it would be nice to move the poolside shows to another area, so the pool could be used for what it's there for.

If labor in Montego Bay is so cheap why can't they hire another maintenance man?
By ,
This resort was disappointing. We knew in advance the rooms were very small, but they are obviously way behind in maintenance. The paint was peeling around the pool, if you leaned against it while in the pool you ended up with paint chips over yourself and your suit. Our room had a broken towel rack, broken toilet seat, a TV remote that would work for off and on and brunt out light bulbs but it was better than the room the couple we were with received. Their room had AC that was not functioning correctly, the fan wasn't working at capacity. They requested another room and were told there weren't any available. As Breezes was obviously not full that went back and were told a big group was coming the next day. The third time they went back and said it was just way too hot, they were finally moved to another room. The "nice" restaurant was just average but difficult to get in to because they only took 4 reservations a night. 2/3 of the tables were empty, so it was a staffing issue not space issues. Serice was spotty. The front desk was indifferent. The pool entertainment was good. For a chain with a "no tipping allowed" policy we received pretty big hints. And the Premium liquer is hidden away, they push the frozen drinks with the cheap rum. One night they promoted their Free shuttle to Margeritaville and the shuttle driver said "take care of me" as soon as we got one and it was a 4 block drive.

More of Breezes Mo Bay
By ,
I was there at Christmas 2004 and had the time of my life. the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but who is in the room anyway. I never felt unsafe and often went out at night unescorted. The food was delicious and plentyful and the drinks were wonderful. The staff at this resort was awesome and I am in contact with them to this day. I speak to a few of them at least twice a month. The water sports staff, especially Bradley Taylor, was extremely nice and sweet and accommodating. There was ALWAYS some activities to enjoy poolside. I cannot wait to return.
