Dream Inn, Daytona Beach Shores

I really loved this place. It had the true tropical look. The staff was very polite and not all up in your visit like alot of chain hotels are. The hotel is right on the beach. The pool was clean and relaxing. My fami;ly was planned to stay one extra night in Daytona after already being there for 3 days, we went to Dream Inn on a sper of the moment decision... Once we got there and saw the room and place, we automatically asked for another night, which wasnt in our original plans. Also we were upset that we had spent so much for so less at the previous hotel. If you like chain hotels then this may not be for you but if you you love to be in a tropical atmosphere and feel relaxed then this is the place. I will be staying here again for sure. I see some complaints of internet on here but we had none.

Everything about the Dream Inn was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very close to the beach. We are counting down until we get to go back!

We thought this place was great the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and the landscaping and grounds are beautiful you can see the ocean from almost anywhere on the property. The rooms were nice too.

The Dream inn was great loved the plants and trees in the courtyard and the view form our room was great.

charged us over a 1000,00 dollars for a week for a romance getaway and this was our first vacation by our self in over 30 years the place was not like the pictures at all not even close and all the stuff that we was promised like dinner and a show and tickets for a fishing trip and some other ticket we payed for but never got all we got was the man telling us that was not included in that package but it was on the web site that i booked i listen to him fuss about that the lady i talk to didnt book me the romance package but the price was will never stay at this rude mans hotel ever again and by the way 2009 we went back to daytona and stay at the palm plaza and its 100% better cost about the same but worth every penny

My wife and I spent 4 nights in an ocean front room. The motel was built in the 50's, 60's and 80's. Though it could use some remodeling, it was clean and kept up. The grounds were also well kept. The owner and manger were both pleasant and accomadating. Though the office is not always manned, by ringing a bell inside, the manager showed up in short time. If you're looking for a modern motel with all the amenities, this won't be for you. But if you want a family owned place which is comfortable and does have a great ocean view (certainly as good an ocean view as any other 2 story motel) then you may enjoy the Dream Inn. For the money, the Dream Inn is certainly worth it. And, unlike many other motels along the beach that are now in foreclosure, the Dream Inn is there to service those that don't need the high rise and all the amentities!

We stayed at this property 4 yrs ago and loved it. We were so happy to go back until we got there. What a shame to see this lovely little motel go to the dogs. Our AC was so rusty and moldy it made me sick to look at and kept us up all night with water running through it like a fountain. The stairs going down to the beach were in bad need of repair and unsafe. The rails on the balcony needed painting like everything on the property. Broken chairs at the pool, cracks in the side walk and walls. Maybe the economy has been it's down fall but when a guest pays good money for a vacation at the beach they deserve a better stay then we had. We won't go back, what a shame!

Don't let the amazing pictures fool you,I made reservations there for my honeymoon,and boy was i dissapointed.For the price i paid a night,i could have stayed at a lot nicer hotel.I want go back.

This was the cutest little motel I've ever seen! Loved the garden area with all the flowers in bloom and the table/chairs just outside out terrace room. Could see ocean from there too. Pool and beach was just a short few steps away. Everything clean and apparently the sheets/towels have been replaced since some of the other reviews because ours were fresh and nice. Walk across stree to IHOP and Red Lobster and one shop for souveniers. Convenient to large shopping area/restaurants in Port Orange. We took our 3 year old grandson and he had a ball! I can't wait to return.

My wife and I had a great anniversary thanks in part to the Dream Inn and its family staff. We enjoyed Daytona and the surrrounding area and hopefully will return in the very near future. The rooms are very clean and well kept.
