Lee & Bruce sold out to the DEC and the scum bag croanies in Albany that run it. The state has no mo ney, but they dump over a $1 million into this as a training facility...Ready NY, they decided to shut it down because they have, well, no money! Thanks Gov. Richie Prior and your mob crew.

Stayed here this past weekend. Snowmobile trails directly on property. Rooms clean, they are smoking room but we could not smell and smoke. We will stay here again!

the has great access to fishing,snowmobiling and other activites. there is limited or no television in the rooms. the lodge has a big screen tv for viewing.the rooms and bedding smell of smoke and they are dorm style rooms with multiple beds(sleeps 6 people) the rooms are pricey and you need to ask before booking about the multiple person price. for example 2 adults and 3 children would be 58.00 per person per person per night.all staying in the same room. no discounts for family at all. the price is fine as long as it states clearly that its per person and not just per room.. please dont be misled!! if your going fishing with all adults the the price is fair, but for a family, the price is kind of steep for a weekend family getaway.

My son and I have stayed here many winter nights over the past few years. We snowmobile directly onto the state cooridor snowmobile staight from our trailer as a the trail runs next to the motel. The rooms are perfect for hanging your wet gear to dry and we always get a good night sleep. Pulaski has many places to eat, grocery stores, car wash etc.

the place was really nice ,however if your looking for fancy, this isnt the place .no cable tv, no room service and no phone. on the plus side, great for fishing and awesome place for snowmobiling.awesome scenery and the staff are all too happy to help out.would definetly stay there again for snowmobiling.

for the price i believe there should be more than two channels on the tv. wouldnt hurt to hang a clock, or have an alarmclock. things i liked is its quick access to the snowmobile trails, plenty of places to eat within a mile or so, i will be back for future snowmobile trips.

Stayed at the Portly about 5 years ago. Came back from fishing to find there was no water. Turns out a shower valve came apart in a room and they had to shut the water off. Since I am a plumber, I put the shower valve back together and the water was back on in about 15 mins. They gave me and my fishing partner 2 nites free. Would definetly recommend the Portly Angler for those weekend fishing get-aways.

If you want non smoking stay away, the pillows stink of smoke. The tv has no remote and they ony get two channels. There is no telephone in the room and no alarm clock or for that matter clock. If you hold the towels up to the light you can see through them. Expensive for what you get. I would rather stay in a tent.

this hotel is really geared to the fisherman.
